Great location - easy to get to all local attractions. Good sized room. Friendly staff. Close to the local parkrun. Easy parking.

Balcony was small and the seats had puddles of water on them from recent rain.

Everything was great. Staff was very attentive to our needs. The location was perfect for our golf trip.

I think the mattress in the main bedroom will need to be replaced given it offer no support in the middle.

It was a short-notice booking, but they had availability and the staff were very nice. It is very good accommodation for the price. Everything was tidy and clean.

The room description says it has a balcony, but it is so small that doesn't fit a person comfortably.

The location was easy to find. The room had enough space and the aircon worked well. Staff was helpful and friendly.

The value for money ratio was steep, as the price we paid for the room was quite high, and in would secure more luxurious accommodation elsewhere. But it did the job.

The staff were lovely, the location was great, and it was nice and quiet despite being relatively close (2 minute drive) to the main beaches/town.

Unfortunately, there were a few notable issues with the apartment, and the reality didn't match the photos; we aren't the fancy types, and we don't usually complain about much, but for the sake of anyone else staying here, we felt that we needed to be honest. Firstly, we paid extra for an apartment with a spa, looked nice in the photos, but in reality all the grout was filthy, and there was a clump of hair sticking out of the filter, so we didn't even use it except to shower in (no other option). Second, there was water damage visible around the bathroom doorway at floor level, and on the ground level directly beneath that, there was a decent-sized hole in the ceiling which had just had a vent haphazardly screwed over it, and the ceiling around it was sagging, so almost certainly mould growing in there. There was also an extremely sharp screw/bolt sticking up vertically out of the tile floor in the bathroom, which I only noticed by luck before anyone stepped on it, and then had to lay towels over it + keep the bathroom door always closed to ensure our child didn't step on it, which would've been a major issue. The couch downstairs was dirty and had 0 cushions, and for some reason, despite there being 2 sets of curtain rods on each window, there were only heavy curtains hung/no sheer ones, so the option was either no natural light at all, or full visibility from the street (directly into main living room). All in all, we wouldn't have cared nor mentioned anything if it just felt a bit dated, but it unfortunately felt poorly maintained and a little unsafe; it felt like our apartment wasn't really in a state to be being utilised at the moment. We made do for one night, and the bed was relatively comfy + air con was nice, but if we'd had more than one night booked, we would've reluctantly cancelled the second and re-booked elsewhere. A few changes would go a very, very long way.

We thought serviced meant our room would be serviced. We were surprised to find on the second night the bed wasnt made and the towels not changed. Also we received no more teabags or coffee. Also a toaster in the room would be handy. We have always stayed there, but we won't stay again

Good Size, Price, Location, all met my desires & expectations

Lounge in our room needs to be collected in Council clean up day - it was literally falling apartStrange layout of building means accessibility would be an issue after front office has closed as you need to climb steep stairs to get to most rooms.

Motel is located in between shaol bay and Nelson bay which was ideal. The bed was big and comfortable and the reception staff were friendly.

The shower head was very low and the spa pool is cold.

Had a 2bdm unit across 2 floors. Lots of space and walking distance to both Nelson Bay and Shoal Bay.

Place was a bit drab, the couch and chairs were so bad and uncomfortable that I sat on the floor with a pillow instead.

The 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed.

Everything! That’s my second time at this place, it was very clean, beds were comfy, they have an onsite parking and it’s free

Going back home

Staying at this place i don't have enough words..We only had to book this as a last resort as mantra did not have our dates to book.The pictures looked so nice half decent but when we seen the place we were double doubting to return back home to Sydney as it is not even close to what was expected, but paying $707.88 for 3 nights rip off and we would not have been refunded we only stayed due to losing money.Room was severely outdated. Smelt weird, cockroachs in bathroom and near fridge.Just nothing like the pictures on booking.comWe did not choose room service but had the lady come into our room when we were not even there and had all our stuff spread out thinking nobody can come into our room. Safety was my biggest concern and that was broken by someone basically breaking into our room without our permission. I don't know if anything is missing as I had all my luggage open and everywhere I will only know once I get back home.
