Wauchope Motel

Great location, perfect little overnight motel for travellers. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were clean and decent size.

Cost of the room seemed a little pricey, but it was a long weekend.

Clean and comfortable, even if first looks seemed rough. Staff were very accommodating

The parking was difficult with about 17 rooms and realistically room for about 12 cars. I could not park outside my room. The outside of the property looked rough, but the rooms were comfortable and clean

This was my 2nd time I had stayed at the Wauchope motel ,the property is in a very convenient location to the shops and cafe’s ,the price was fair, the unit was very clean, the manger was friendly and very accommodating. “For me” the only thing I could say comfort wise was the queen bed I slept on was to firm for me though others might prefer that “so no big deal” …I would recommend this motel for anyone wanting a short stay its economical and clean and positioned conveniently to cafe’s & shopping etc.

Under cover parking

Room very cramped especially the bathroom

Very cosy motel with a very friendly helpful owner. This motel is quaint and has all that you need. On the Oxley Highway but quiet at night. Highly recommend.

Undercover parking for the bikes. Friendly host. Conveniently located.

Motel was very close to town and was perfect for a stay over

Bathroom is very tiny , but not to worry i would stay here again as it was perfect for our needs

Air-conditioning, nice bed

Room too small

An excellent small motel, exceptionly clean and all that we required for a one night stay.Lady who was at reception was helpful and friendly.Motel was just what we required.

Great location and suited all my needs

Nothing, it’s an older motel and excellent value for money

This is a very small room, it was clean and newly appointed, comfortable enough, but terribly small and a little overpriced

size and price for value

basic accomodation, clean, comfy friendly ,staff, close to town, quiet at night, rooms have block out blinds

a toaster would have been nice

The room was refurbished and clean and did the job. The Bed were comfortable and nothing too much to complain about. Close to the Centre of Wauchope which we needed.

Had a little problem with the air conditioning it kept stopping they gave us a little portable one Luckly it wasn't 2 hot

Nice little motel. Very cosy, good for a one night stay in between travel.

Slightly unclean (bug in the milk) but not bad at all for the price you pay.

Small , cheap and clean . Good price

Parking was hard

It was nice and clean

Couldn’t find the place as a huge truck was covering the sign. Also the sign wasn’t clean and couldn’t be seen

Not meeting expectations

No one at reception to give us our keys, no communication from the Motel at all. Parking wasn't very good and the chairs and table outside was filthy.

Clean, comfortable beds, good shower.

Noisy road.

This one was definitely do not judge a book by its cover! Exterior looks a bit careworn but the room itself was clean, comfortable beds & pillows, ckean & fluffy white towels and fresh milk on offer from Reception for one's cuppa. We were only staying one night after 9 hours of driving - and it was a very comfortable stay. Easy walk into town to stretch your legs after hours of driving ???

Room was air-conditioned but it would be nice to have ceiling fan but acknowledge motel configuration doesn't lend itself to this. Shower configuration means water splashes out. And this is not a motel with guest laundry facilities but there is a laundromat in town.

Great location. Compact but very neat and comfortable

Parking was a bit tricky and may be difficult if it was full
