The air conditioner unit was great as temperature outside was 39 degrees.

Cramped and uncomfortable. No kitchen cutlery, china or milk for tea or coffee. No space to prepare meals. No additional toilet paper.

Bathroom was modern and clean, bed very comfy

No power points at either side of bed - although not a big deal, we used the power points on the opposite wall

It was ok if you needed a bed to stay overnight.

It's a bit run down. A very basic motel.

Easy check in. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds.

The car park is very small and cramped. Need to get rid of yhe pool and expand the parking area

Good comfortable bed and clean facilities.

Could have some bowls and cutlery so you could prepare your own breakfast.

It was lovely and quiet, and I had a good sleep ready for a long drive the next day

There was no milk in the fridge, but I had been upgraded at the last minute, so perhaps the room had not been fully prepared. Anyways I had to go to a shop so I bought some milk, and that sorted the issue.

Always stay at the Red Chief when in Gunnedah. It suits our needs, location is central.

The rooms need a bit of an update but they are functional

Location was good. Good sized rooms. Basic but clean

A bit expensive for what it was.

It had wifi

Shabby condition with flaking paint and cracked and chipped tiles. The fridge was behind the entry door and did not work very well. The room smelled stale upon arrival. The toilet was dirty and disgusting. Small room. The window could not be opened.

I stay frequently at the hotel as I attend dog conformation show. My dog is sleeping either in the car or in a crate depending on the weather conditions. The room was clean.

The room was very small (I stayed multiple times ) and never had a room that small. The extremely old and worn furniture was covered with an old blanket, a mirror replaced and wall not painted, the bedhead old and looked dirty. No bedside table lamp but I brought my torch. The worst was the door lock which I could not open at arrival and when finally opened , it later locked me out of the room and as a woman travelling alone - this was not safe at all. Staff was usually on sight, always friendly and available. This was not the case this time.No one at the property at all and after calling the number displayed at reception I finally got a call back. They did arrange a lock smith for the next day. The lock got fixed. A large group of other guest arrived and partied 2 nights until 3am sitting infront their rooms, heavily intoxicated and again no person from the motel. I did not feel safe as woman travelling alone.The garden area which was usually looked after was unkept and dirty. i asked at and reception and i was informed that the motel had new owners/managers.

Within budget and in middle of town

Bed was a little uncomfortable however acceptable for the price paid

Room was not cleaned very well, the bed was very uncomfortable and the bathroom was not good

We requested an early access to our room as we travelled as we had a car servicedThe only thing was I thought that was a bit excessive

The extra charge

Lovely room. The staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. I will stay there again.

Great budget accommodation, locations nice and handy to town center,

could do with a fresh but, not enough of an issue to stop staying there again

I got to have my kids down there

The pool was not cleaned and that the aircon did not work
