Location, size of room, kitchenette.

I travel a fair bit and one thing I always do is read the reviews from others. 9 out of 10 had similar thoughts and gave this place good if not great reviews.The premises was well situated in the town. Short work or drive to shops and eateries.Our room was very clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was large along with the shower. The bed wasn't perfect but good enough. My only suggestion to make my point score a 10 rather than 9 was that the lounge in my room was placed in the room and I was unable to watch TV from that position.Maybe they should install a swivel TV bracket. Also there were two of each wine glasses, cups and saucers but no plates or cutlery.In saying this it was not a massive issue.

Room was absolutely spotless. Even on the main road the room was nice and quiet. Netflix already to go and the room was cleaned daily.

Chris the host was very helpful with suggestions as to where to eat etc. Location was good near main shopping area and places to eat. Parking spaces were a good size which is not always the case in some motels.

When we first entered the room there was a lingering smell from the drains in the bathroom. This cleared after we had run the taps. Also there was some noise from trains during the night.

Location of the Motel was excellent. Facilities were incredible and the owners were fantastic people to talk to about the town

Needed cutlery in the room(Knives and forks would be of value)

Lovely airy room. Very clean. Host was very helpful.

Everything and the WiFi and TV service were exceptional.And the service was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

Lovely clean room with large sofa which was under the TV. Soft, comfortable beds and it was suggested that we eat at the Courthouse Hotel which was five minutes walk from the motel. The meal was excellent.

Clean and comfortable one night stay. Good location.

New TV's had Netflix - allowed me a choice of viewing. Room had electric blankets providing warm beds and room was pleasantly airconditioned. Bathroom was well stocked and roomy, pump soap kept the vanity clean.

Big room. Pod coffee machine. Nice shower. Nice dinner at restaurant next door call Mavericks Bistro

poor water pressure in the shower, and the bedside lamps were faulty, which I understand are to be replaced.

Motel was clean & comfortable. The manager was very friendly & accommodating of our family. Suggested where to go for dinner.

Clean & tidy , comfortable bed but a drain smell in the bathroom , no pool when it was hot :(

I thought there would have been a pool for the price of the stay , and the drains in the room were smelly , an unpleasant smell in the bathroom when we arrived , shower rose was extremely old and the lounge was very worn out when the price is what it is . I t was clean and the bed was comfortable which is important to us and a good breeze outside the room to sit and have a drink.

This was my second time here and it is such a clean comfy motel I love everything about it.Will be back next year.New ownership and lovely people.

friendly staff, good location

A bit noisy, but to be expected on the main drag

Large sized room with big comfy couch to sit back on and relax. Bed was comfortable with plenty of bedding to keep you warm. Bedside lamps were a very nice addition, being able to adjust the light to suit reading or getting up during the night. They also had a USB port for charging. Kitchenette and bathroom facilities well stocked, however, water was provided at a cost. Property was just taken over by new owner the day we left so I hope that they can meet the same standard that has been set. New owner was polite in our interactions so that a win.
