Great location in the middle of town, large comfortable renovated rooms, very clean, friendly staff.

Outlook was over rooftops and large air con units which were loud so we couldn’t open our window.

No lifts, so can be difficult to bring luggage up if you’re in the upper floorsWifi was crappy; couldn’t log in during the stay

Awesome location and friendly reception. We were traveling with a toddler and they made sure we could enter our room a bit earlier.

There was a very noisy door everyone had to go through to get to their rooms. Maybe it needs a bit of oil and a little note communicating to not let the door slam. No body lotion which was totally fine.

Due to renovations occurring was quite noisy from 7 am however we were notified of this beforehand so not a complaint.

Room was clean, freshly renovated and comfortable.

What I didn’t like:The property was under refurbishment and felt more like a construction site than a hotel. Power tools and construction noise began at 7am, waking us up, and corridors and stairways were cluttered with ladders and building materials, creating both inconvenience and safety concerns.I requested a late checkout to compensate for the disruption but was only granted an extra 30 minutes, which felt inadequate. When I asked for a later time (12–1pm), staff were defensive and dismissive of my complaint. One staff member even told me he “didn’t like being threatened” after I explained I would lodge a formal complaint if the matter wasn’t resolved. Ultimately, checkout remained at 10:30am.Overall, I felt the hotel showed very little consideration for guests given the level of noise, mess, and disruption during our stay.

Great Location and you just had to walk downstairs to the bar and restaurant and the staff were great.

Excellent location and only a short stroll to the beach in a mater of minutes. Central to everything in South West Rocks. Clean and tidy room, with a good-sized balcony. Easy access to the hotel for meals. Would stay here again on another visit.

Had the best steak I’ve ever had at a pub before.!!Location is great and very friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

Bed .. quite tired room, but know they are starting renovations.

Great location, friendly staff and just across the road from the beach. The pub was packed on Saturday which was a good sign. Delicious meals from the bistro.

Location was excellent, food was good and staff very friendly.

Qualifier: we knew the hotel was undergoing renovations but elected to stay there anyway.Our room was clean and carpets dated but carpets in hall were not great and our room overlooked the open garbage bins ( with the attendant bin chooks).
