Riverview Boutique Motel

This is a lovely property with the feel of an old fashioned guest house. We stayed in one of the larger rooms (which I would recommend) which had a small balcony and there is plenty of room for a couple or small family. The room was spotlessly clean with a small fridge, kettle and microwave, and the beds were comfortable. A very nice light breakfast served in a sunny breakfast room is included in the price which is unusual these days. The managers are lovely, very welcoming and helpful. It is well located near the waterfront and not far from cafes, restaurants, a supermarket and local clubs.

As this is quite a small property there can be a little bit of noise if guests arrive later in the evening as they find their room and get settled. This is not a big problem and we found our stay very quiet overall.

The room was well appointed, including kettle, coffee, tea & milk. The location was great, close to the river, and a short walk to the RSL.The breakfast was good and the owners very hospitable.

A nice welcome. Good room, excellent double bed and some nice quality touches. A stocked fridge if you wanted it. Car port for parking.

Would have liked a cereal and a cooked breakfast, it was one or the other.

Fabulous accommodation in a great location. Helpful and friendly hosts served a delicious breakfast and our room was spacious, well appointed and extremely clean. Will definitely stay here again.

The motel is in a great location down near the river in close proximity to cafes, the river & nice walks.The motel is an old building but has a nice ambience about it & is decorated tastefully & clean.The staff were friendly & helpful & on arrival explained the procedure for the included breakfast the following morning. The bathroom in the unit was very spacious & the bed comfortable. Provisions in the room were good.

The flight of stairs up to the room was very steep although there was at least another flight to use at the opposite end of the hall not quite as steep.There was a small slope across the room under the carpet about 1cm wide with no signage so if not careful it was easy to trip.The flying foxes nearby were very noisy in the morning.

Bats were very noisy and to keep the door closed, and the bed was very hard for me

Breakfast was very nicely done. The owners were friendly and helpful and the river a 5 min walk. Beaches a 5 min drive. Clean room and a nice balcony.

Fruit bats. I know they are native and protected but they made a noise from the adjacent trees all night. It wasn’t too bad as the temperature allowed us to close the windows but for those who like an open window, it may be an issue.

This is our 4th stay here at Riverview Boutique Motel. We love it here! The Staff are always very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very clean and bed is comfortable. The hot breakfast is great and an added bonus. We highly recommend and will be back soon

The place is very clean. Staff helpful and friendly.

Bed too soft. Netflix access required staff to sign us in. No hooks for wet towels in the bathroom. Plunger or instant coffee for breakfast are the only options. No espresso option.

Have stayed here a few times - always good experience - its clean, quiet and in a great location. Hosts are a bit zany, but welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is old fashioned but as its included in the deal is convenient.

The bed was awlful, soft & floppy, so that you rolled into the middle.

Lovely atmosphere. Great location. Good view. Perfect balcony. Rena and Ziggy were extremely helpful and nice.
