    • Great location minutes to the beach. We stayed in a Tiny Home, it was comfortable for the two of us. A short walk to the beach, where you can surf, swim or snorkel. Lovely walks around the coast. Cafes and shops close by also the local club does a great meal.

    People, position.

Our cabin was a thing of the past, dilapidated, exterior grimy, no ac, a match would be too good for it. I’m a traveler and don’t mind character but really cannot believe they rent these things out, we booked for two nights and stayed for one and couldn’t be bothered hanging around for the office to open just had to take it on the chin and leave. Scott’s head great, reflections not.

Amazing location right behind the sand dunes. Easy short walk to swimming and dog beach. The tiny house accommodation was great with all facilities and a nice little deck. Nearby shop and cafe with basics but next time I would shop before I arrived. Beautiful location, stunning.

    The cyclone foreshortened my stay.

Right on the beach so access was great. Spent most time out on the tiny house deck.

Tiny house deck needs more sun protection as late in day sun restricted use.A/C did not work correctly so very hot inside.Position of house directly behind sand dune and trees blocks most wind especially from NE so becomes very hot.Position of gas stove means heat is transferred into backsplash which remained hot for 20 mins after cooking (fire risk)? Inconsistent water pressure in shower means that gas does not continuously heat water thus shower runs cold. Had to shut off water and turn on again to get hot water to come through.

The proximity to the beach was wonderful, and our cabin was in a good location in the park.

    The bathroom was so small.

The location is great. The two beaches are both family friendly. The surrounding area is nice, the park, cafe etc. Having the bowlo so close was great too.

The cabin we were in looked bigger in the photos online. It sleeps 5 but only has a small two seater lounge. We have a family of four, with two young children and the lack of comfortable seating was an issue. Wouldn’t recommend this cabin for any longer than 2 night. The bathroom was extremely small and water went everywhere. The tiles on the bathroom floor were also loose. The door to the toilet block literally banged all night both nights we were there.

    Cleanliness and location

Bit more space on kitchen bench tops

    10DebraPosted on: 9-29-2024

l was so nicely surprised how clean and fresh our little space was. Situated next to the beach access. Shops & cafe's walking distance. We were amongst the relaxing sounds of nature, birds & ocean. We saw whales & migrating birds. Only stayed 2 nights, booked a longer holiday

We stayed ina tiny home Very comfortable & clean

Staff were very friendly and my cabin was very comfortable it was also great to have disabled toilet facilities In a private bathroom ..The park was also in a very good location and near the beach and bowling club and shops and for what I paid the cabin was very good value.

The cabin is showing its age and I was aware of having no hot water or air con it would be great If the cabins could be renovated.I will be definitely having another holiday to scotts head in the future and I will stay in a tiny home :)

Great location. Heating kept things cozy and warm. Comfortable bed. Dish washer with tablets. Coffee pods on hand to use the coffee machine.

Internet non-existent. But I had plenty of data. Dishes didn’t wash well so I scrubbed them up and ran them through the dishwasher again. Easy solution.

The tiny home is very cute, comfortable, very well furnished and so close to the ocean. Everything was just perfect ! We will come back. Thank you

Close your the beach , nice sized cabin , great for families and all round beautiful location

    10JessicaPosted on: 5-24-2024

The tiny house had everything we needed with clever space-saving options. We were so close to the beach we enjoyed sunset & sunrise beach walks. On the first night we strolled over to the Bowling Club that had a great Bistro for dinner.

Great location close to beach and shops

The tiny home was lacking kitchen bench space and had nowhere to sit and eat indoors apart from the couch.Would have liked more counter space or even another shelf or a table. The house needs some hooks for jackets/hats etc.

Location is awesome - this was our second time staying there (bigger cabin last time) - we love the location, in our 6 night stay we only took the car out once - everything is within walking distance. We had a "tiny home" this time as that is all that was available (Unfortunately our work leave overlapped slightly with school holidays) The tiny home was extremely comfortable, brand new, great layout - very good for 2 people.

The tiny cabins are down the end of the park that is right next to the Bowling Club and lawn mower noise got a bit too much after a while. Tiny home was awesome as far as the bathroom was a good size, bedroom was fine, lounge room was fine, kitchen was very nice but lacked bench space for meal preparation. The sink was way too big for the size of the kitchen and it would benefit with a timber board covering the sink to allow for some more bench space. only other suggestion I have with the cabins is - the caravan park is right on the beach with main activities surfing and swimming yet they don't provide any form of drying rack for towels and wet items.

Love everything about this park and the location. We have coming here for a few years now stopping for a few days on the way to see family in Newcastle.
