Deer Park Motor Inn Armidale

Everything was lovely and just what we needed; from the rooms, facilities, pool access and location through to all the staff, the delicious breakfast and the beautiful deer in their enclosure a short stroll up the path near our room. I highly recommend this beautiful, quiet and comfortable hotel. The breakfast room was lovely and peaceful with beautiful views and provided a generous Continental breakfast. Wonderful, thank you ?!

Feeding the Deers

Indoor pool not heated as advertised

It was quiet.

The room was freezing, the air conditioner didn't work properly. the breakfast was ok a coffee machine would have been a good addition as well as some fruit.

Bed was very comfortable, unit very clean the deer where cute.

Couldn't get the heat on the a/C info would be great. No hot or cold labels on the shower taps.very noisy neighbours.

Room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Nothing you could complain about.

Big rooms. Nice breakfast. Good value. Comfy bed.

Some of the bathroom fittings need repair. Cupboards a little dated.

Easy access on main road.

Dog rooms adjacent soboth dogs barked and hard to keep quiet .not owners fault but would be better if located at separate ends

Nice quiet location only 2kms from the Armidale CBD. Gorgeous little deer onsite in the park. Bed was super comfy, room.was spacious, modern and clean. More than adequate parking available.

I would have liked a dustpan and brush or a broom so I could clean up after my cats as I had a pet friendly room.

Excellent stay, the rooms were huge shower and toilet were also plenty of room. Staff were really nice. Room was cleaned daily and you could opt out if you didn't want it tidied . It was nice and quiet there. The deer's were an added bonus lovely to watch. Over all a very good stay there would do it again

Breakfast was provided.. very friendly staff.. the feeding of the deers was so much fun, especially for our granddaughter..

Loved the deer

Unfortunately the paddock containing the deer was extremely run down! The owner/manger wasn’t really interested in answering any questions regarding the deer just wanted to give food and disappear. I also tried to have communication about the “included” breakfast but there was lots of miscommunication. Things crossed out in the room information but told there was a breakfast then doors were closed so we just left. Very expensive for what was included and a very very basic semi clean room! Also couldn’t find anyone to try and give us another towel paid for family of 4 was only provided 3 towels

The fact that they are pet friendly. The deer where absolutely stunning and to be able to feed them was great.

Staff are wonderful and very friendly. Our children loved feeding the deer and the heated indoor pool was nice.clean rooms that were super comfy.

Broken hair dryer: (this and iron last inspected in 2015!) broken bathroom tiles: bad lighting: broken door chain, : grubby carpet: pool out of action (but open, and cold, on last day): dreary outlook

Shower was difficult for me to adjust. My only criticism.

The beds looked so good nut way to springy for us if I rolled over it caused a bouncy effect to my partner waking him up and vice versa.

It's a nice bonus that you can feed the deer. Having a desk in the room was useful. The check-in and check-out was easy.

The pool was too cold. There was a toaster in the room but no plates/cutlery. The bed lights didn't work. The shampoo/conditioner things were mismatched so there was no conditioner but lots of hand cream. The breakfast should have individual spreads, not a tub of margarine and a Vegemite squeezy bottle.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, clean, good continental breakfast and deer feeding a wonderful experience.

Not enough pillows for a king-size bed, heated pool was cold

The room has been painted and modernised and has newer comfortable beds.

Some parts of the driveway were steep and uneven. But solid enough to drive on carefully.
