Hideaway Motor Inn

The accommodation was affordable and clean and perfect for a one night stopover.

I would like Hideaway motor inn to cancel the payment and refund in full as promised by them when I was there.If I never had this bad experience then I would never of found the next.I found a better place - City Centre Motel Armidale were the best ? ?. The receptionist (young lady) really impressed me by being able to not only fit us in but the breakfast was beautiful. Rooms great ? etc,etc...

We booked on the road, happy to pay a little extra for a dual apartment as we had 5 people (family). It had been a long trip/day, just wanted to relax.As soon as we walked in my kids noticed a cockroach sitting on the towel that was on one of the beds. I quickly snapped a photo. Immediately went back to reception and said this is unsatisfactory. The rest of the room looked as if it had not seen a vacuum and surfaces looked sticky.We/both parties agreed that is not appropriate and they said a full refund would be processed. Still waiting for there confirmation of cancellation with full refund. Would love to forget i ever turned up, im embarrassed and I dont know why

The pool could use a bit more maintenance. Lots of algae.

Parking was next to the room.Everything worked well.Good towels, shower.Room was clean and easy to find coming south and easy to exit to go south again next morning.

Rooms were sizable and clean. Beds had thermal blankets so it was nice and warm for a good night sleep.

The laundry is not enclosed and a bit messy.

Great location, close to UNE and the room was clean, comfortable and spacious.

Staff are really lovely and welcoming. The room was comfortable and the shower was amazing. The beds have electric blankets for the cold winter nights. Very happy with our stay. Thank you

Everything was very good. We had a quiet, comfortable sleep. The only concern was a bedside lamp which had a faulty switch. It could have been dangerous. Left hand side as you look at the bed. Motel offices are not open early in the mornings to report such things. Also there was a red rounded box on the ceiling which seemed to serve no purpose. Not a fire alarm, not a smoke detector, not a WiFi box. Just strange.

The room was a little bit removed from my car but nice. The sink was outside the bathroom. Didn't bother me.

The room was clean and a good size for 3 adults, the beds were comfortable and there was parking right outside the room. Location is just off the New England Hwy on the northern side of town, very convenient for people travelling who are looking for a good value, comfortable bed for the night.

Only negative is that the Motor Inn is located on the northern edge of town so there are no cafes or restaurants within walking distance.
