Abbotsleigh Motor Inn

Close to centre of town; value for money

Location

No AC. Lights getting through blinds. Difficult to sleep.

Room was massive. Is right next to restaurants and pubs. On a main road but still quiet. Staff were fantastic helpful and friendly.

friendly staff rooms very clean and comfortable

Location and price

Mattress was old and had a holliw in the middle, I wass bitten by bed bugs, there was no air-conditioner, the room was very small. When I phoned to let staff know about the bed bugs there was no apology offered.

The motel is close to the fast food restaurants, like KFC and Maccas. Thus, the location is convenient for travelers who are in search of after-hours food.

Noise from other rooms travelled to my room at nighttimes.

Great friendly staff. Near all shops. Next door to Red Rooster, Subway and a good burger shop. Coles neeat as well. Felt comfortable and not bothered by people,

Location - perfect... shops and Red Rooster, burger place, Subway right next door. All other shops and facilities are in walking distance. No need for elevator. A a handful of steps for the 2nd floor. Staff was so helpful and didn't shoo you away quickly.

Nothing and it was also the cheapest at the time.

It was fairly central and close to shops

It was a little run down and some repairs were needed

Warm, clean, comfortable bed, easy to find. Good facilities, TV etc.. Next door to food outlets

There are no breakfast available. However in the past when I have stayed. There morning breakfast was great. Plenty of room to park a larger vehicle.

It’s not a matter of what I didn’t like. It’s good how the new management are progressively updating each motel room.

Joe was such a nice person. I called a few days earlier about checking in early and he was so accomodating. The bed was comfortable, room was clean, heating was good, and having a fridge, kettle, extra blankets was helpful. Nice adequate bathroom. Value for money. A very comfortable stay. Lots of parking. Staff was nice. Staff always attend to calls . Close to restaurants and town.

Good location

Parking .went to dinner. Had to park elsewhere

- prime location - affordable price

The lights in the driveway were not turned on until past 7pm (25/04/25). We came back walking to the motel from the shops. It was pitch-black.

- Super convenient location - Clean and neat- Very kind and helpful managers

- Property is old, needs TLC- No microwave in the room - Bathrooms are very old

The room was warm and cosy with a great location walking distance to shops and food outlets

The location is ideal for the Armidale CBD. The staff were friendly, obliging and very helpful. The mattress was comfortable and overall the motel provided value for money

The room WAS NOT serviced daily. Requests for fresh towels; toilet paper; and toiletries were readily provided WHEN REQUESTED, but room service was non existent.

Location, good communication.

I had to ask for the room to be cleaned, fresh towels and toilet paper. The room is a little dated and the shower wasn’t clean when I arrived.

Basic motel, clean and tidy, value for money

Nil

rubbish bin not emptied from previous guest! Ligjt not working in kitchenette. Never saw any staff!
