Armidale Inn

The location was good for me because I didn't need to be in the town, but it was well removed from Armidale. It was spacious and well enough appointed for my needs.

The free breakfast was very limited. I would have preferred to have paid less for the room and provided my own cereal and toast. As a solo traveler, I would have preferred a couch or comfortable lounge chair to the extra bed.

Friendly staff who are very helpful. Rooms are spotless and well equipped.A great place to stay.

Clean and tidy room, free breakfast (cereals and toast) and accommodated myself and my dog for an overnight stay. Staff were really welcoming and let us know we could contact them if there were any problems.

Nothing - it is on the edge of town so you can't walk to restaurants etc. so would need a car or food delivery.

Lovely continental style breakfast in a very pleasant dining room :) Very comfy beds, clean and spacious unit plus parking outside your front door. Manager was a very lovely lady, willing to go the extra mile for her guests.

A great place to stay! We were made very welcome by the new management team. Our room was clean, affordable, quiet, and well designed to make use of the views. The motel was dog-friendly - and some lovely walks in the area. Two EV charging points. A delicious continental breakfast in the morning to get us "on the road".

The room was certainly adequate though a little small. However, great value for money so who can really complain?

It was cheap so my expectations weren't high ! Overall it was good value for money! I had undercover parking which came in handy due to an evening hail storm however there is a concrete hump you have to drive over to get into it & my little Barina struggled! Also I noticed 4 wheel drives were to high to get into these carports & had to stay out ! The rooms are very small & there were home handyman repairs such as gaffer tape holding the toilet paper dispenser together. But they were clean & comfortable!

When I arrived at 2pm the office was locked & unattended & I had to wait for 20 minutes for the manager to arrive back in their car ? Didn't help that it was cold & raining !

Location was great. Able to have our dogs in room. Free breakfast

We were looking for a cheap place to stay when our plans for camping were changed by the weather. This place totally surprised us in a great way. The rooms were compact but clean with everything you need including cupboard, fridge, desk and plates with a small patio overlooking town. Nice, Hot shower. 11kw three phase charger for EVs. Plenty of space to park trailer. Friendly staff who gave us a small bottle of fresh milk for tea. We had a quiet night on a comfortable bed. The complimentary basic breakfast was an unexpected bonus, choice of four types of cereal, three types of toast, juice and tea and coffee. We were sad to leave!!

It is on the outskirts of town in bad weather 2km was too far to walk in for a meal for us, however our food delivery driver found the place no problem.Light sleepers may be disturbed by neighbours.

Liked that it was pet friendly, but not the $25 pet fee which was a bit high. Breakfast being included was good, just the basics of drinks, cereal and toast but enough to start the day.

Room was very small and a bit tired for the price charged. Location was fine with a car but it was on the edge of town, not central. Bathroom was very tight. Bed wasn't very comfortable.

Cheap. I only needed to sleep late and go early. Lovely staff. Breakfast included.

Cramped bathroom. Very clean though.

The location was beautiful the rooms very comfortable. Sadly we missed out on breakfast because we were running late.

If breakfast hours lasted a bit longer. No lactose free milk provided in room.

My room didn’t get cleaned 1 of the days I stayed there.

For a continental breakfast ( not cooked) it has good variety of cereals and bread. good selection of spreads , jams and milks for lactose free. Tables were nicely set and spread out enough that you could walk between them with no problem carrying your plate. and the tables were not too close together so your could carry on conversation without being overheard.Also being Pet Friendly was a plus for us!!!!

Would have liked Dinner provided on site, however, we had a delicious Indian diner delivered to our room so we did not have to go out.

needs a serious upgrade to their buildings, walls/floors, sound insulation etc.

Rooms were paper thin. Neighbour comes bk to room at 1am. You can hear everything through the walls. His shower was deafening. we had to get up and leave at 2am as his snoring was intolerable. We wont be returning.

Clean and comfortable

Toilet flush kept getting stuck. The extraction fan in bathroom was extremely loud and you couldn't have the light on without it. No teatowell provided for drying dishes.

The property was close to the uni and the town centre

Parking with plenty of room directly infront of Unit, large room with warm, comfortable bedding & quiet location as well away from entrance & main road.

Very nice place to stay. Good parking. Clean. Comfortable. Breakfast was simple but you cannot complain as this place is good value for money. Staff are friendly and helpful. I arrived late due to having driven all day and they gave me step by step directions as to how to check-in when I got there so I didn't have to spend ages trying to move. The location was just out of the main shopping street which was good as it was nice and quiet. Would definitely stay there again. Great place to spend a few days or as a night stop over.
