Club Motel Armidale

The motel exterior is deceptive because the rooms are bright and contemporary. Easy parking in front of your room and really friendly staff.

Soap holder makes the shower feel very cramped but otherwise the bathrooms are clean and really well lit

Excellent Location just across the road to the Bowling Club and within an easy walk to the center of town. Room was clean and comfortable.Staff were very helpful and obliging..If in the Area again we will certainly stay there.

Not much to dislike/

we had a one night stay while travelling to Sydney. The motel was comfortable.

Two large queen beds, very comfortable, good sized room. Very friendly people, heating turned on in the room for our arrival was great.

Bathroom was a little cramped.

Very abrupt counter experience. Very poor maintenance, such as painted tiles in the bathroom that looks like a child has done it.

Very central location, good size room, nice and clean, very quiet, and comfortable bed. Friendly helpful staff.

No breakfast facilities available

Unable to use shampoo / conditioner dispenser. Stuck. Poor lighting over beverage / meal preparation area. No ability to hang towels up to dry as didn't require room service.

Very convenient location, room was clean and comfortable.

They were helpful in bringing a mattress into our room as we booked for four but only 3 beds.

That we had to spend half an hour changing rooms and sourcing a fourth bed

I hadn't been to Armidale before, the owner was friendly and helpful. He made suggestions for dining and things to do.

Location to town centre was ideal.

Door rattled in windy conditions, taps difficult to turn off and reception staff could be more welcoming.

Good accommodation,handy located opposite bowling club

Host eventually came out and virtually threw the key at us and walked away,no instruction to where room was or anything else.

Secure off street parking, friendly service, clean, neat n tidy, close to town.

Great location near Main Street short walk to Cole’s. Across the road from the bowling club- good for a meal. Ample parking. Check in was smooth. We got an upgrade into a room that the bathroom had been renovated recently small bathroom, but clean. Room comfortable

Blinds instead of curtains would be better as light came into room. Our room was closest to road and did have a bit of traffic noise. Walls were a but thin could hear people next door and out in the parking area.

Beds were incredibly comfy and the owner Craig was incredibly welcoming and helped with all requests

Motel manager was helpful, friendly & informative. In fact all the staff we met were good value … even the very short and hairy one ... I think his name was Oliver

Room was very clean and fresh. The place was centrally located but very quiet

The accommodation was very clean and very comfortable. Have stayed here a few times and have always been happy with our stay. Very centrally located to shops, restaurants, and clubs. The manager was very welcoming and looked after us.

Convenient location

When we checked in the man in reception was somewhat abrupt. But that was neither here nor there. On arrival the toilet had the paper over the lid to say it had been cleaned but there was urine on the seat. Clearly it had not been cleaned. We paid for 3 guests. When my daughter went to shower we noticed only 2 towels had been provided. Reception now closed we shared towels. When she pulled back the covers we found no sheets on the single bed. No sheets in the cupboard either and too late to call reception. The beds were all shot. Feet higher than our heads. The bath floor had some sort of nonslip grit added to it… how is that cleaned I wonder?In the morning there were only 2 biscuits, not 3.We timed our departure to be 8:00 so we could tell the manager we were not happy. But alas the time in the folder in the room said 8 but the sign on the office door was 8:30. Just poor all over.
