Discovery Parks - Emerald Beach

What a hidden gem! We absolutely loved our stay here. The location is spot-on—right in the heart of everything, yet tucked away among beautiful trees with the beach just a stone’s throw away. The cabins? Immaculate, spacious, and packed with everything you need for a comfy, relaxed stay.Even though we were only there for a quick overnight stop, the experience left a lasting impression. We arrived super late and left early, but the team didn’t miss a beat. Their after-hours check-in process was seamless—complete with a hand-highlighted map that made finding our cabin a breeze. That kind of thoughtful, personalized service is so rare these days—city hotels could definitely take notes!We’re already planning our return trip, this time to soak up more of the pool, beach, and all the amazing amenities we didn’t have time to enjoy. Can’t recommend this place highly enough—five stars across the board!

Great little park, fantastic location, facilities where perfect for our crew (pool was a little small for the amount of people in the park at the time but beach was a 2-minute walk)

Alot of condensation in our bathroom and mould appeared very quickly, maybe need to look at some way of trying to move moisture out of the bathrooms quicker (I know it's hard given the humidity though)

Cabin was a little dated but we did take the budget option so was to be expected. Would take one of the newer cabins if in the area again.

Good location with direct access to the beach. Emerald beach has a couple of nice cafes and food outlets. Kids had a great time with a water park and kids activities. The pool is heated which was good for this time of year

The cabin was old and quite run down. It was a budget cabin but not great value for money. We had a big group for a family get together spread across 7 cabins, varying standard, even between cabins in the same class.

We loved this park. Very authentic place easy access to the beach. We booked a lovely new cabin in a nice part of the park and loved the facilities provided within.It’s close to the general store, bottle shop, restaurant and coffee place. We also took the courtesy bus to the Moonee Beach Tavern on Anzac Day which is a great service.We got some extremely awful weather but it didn’t dampen our spirits as we were high and dry in the cabin.Very relaxing.

The whole family loved the atmosphere, pool, water park, playground and jumping pillow were all used for hours. Staff were amazing and accommodating to our needs as a large group of 12. Cannot wait to stay here again for more family fun

We stayed in the new cabins which are super comfortable and really nice. The location is great with beach access from the park which leads directly to the coastal walk. Also cafes, and bottle shop all in walking distance. The kids loved the water park, pool and the jumping pillow. All are in great condition and have shade sails.

The new cabins are the best I have been so far - super new, high tech and comfortable. A bit tight on space, but functional enough to compensate for that. Heated pool was of a good size, volleyball court and half basketball. The beach is descent too.The best value for money

Just a suggestion for the venue: get the clothes drying rack/stand for the cabins - would make it much better and stop patrons from hanging stuff on the chairs and rails

Great location for our family of 5 in a delux 2b cabin. There was a slight issue in the first cabin and staff went above and beyond to accomodate and move us straight away into a more appropriate spot. We would have loved the pool and the jumping pillow to open a bit earlier as I think 9am is quite late in the morning for a lot of families with kids. Beds were super comfy, kitchen was well equipped :) food cart was a nice addition over the weekend.

Cabins were brand new and had everything you needed. Great location with beach access. Food truck had yummy tacos.

The room was very clean and well equipped, had everything we needed. Extra TV in bedroom was a great touch. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again.

The new cabins are wonderful and really all you need. They were clean and the location was beautiful, with some kangaroos coming up to the cabins here and there.

The property was in a great location, close to the beach and venue we were attending, clean facilities looked and smelled fairly new

The beds were very uncomfortable which made for not a nice nights sleep, plus there were no extra blankets generally stored in the cupboards

Very old cabin with hardly enough room between the wall and the bed to walk other than sideways. The bathroom was small and not big enough to dry off or dress in. Having stayed in much nicer cabins in the park, this one was disappointing.

Facilities were amazing for kids, pool area great, well maintained. So close to the beach. Loved our stay.

Harder to travel in groups if you share a cabin for example, no space for 2 cars, but definitely manageable with parking out front.

Tv didn’t work in living area, flooring was quite dirty, moved the couch to get my child’s toy car and there was a collection of food and dirt

Overpriced and rundown

The park is rundown, the cabins are tiny and built to a budget but they charge massive prices for the stay. The cabin was the second last on the block a looooong way from amenities. The kids pool was full of alcohol drinking adults and the kids could not use the park. You could not swing a cat in the room and everything is done on the cheap! The toilet door is dangerous shut and could take your finger off. Roads are gravel and unmaintained. The place is disgusting.All in all it was a miserbale place to stay!!!
