The Anglers Inn

Easy to access, near Main Street and the marina, friendly staff, everything worked and beds were comfortable.

Bit noisy on a Saturday night!

Location was good. Short drive to nearby swimming enclosure/beach. Short walk to main street.

Could easily hear people talking in next room. Luckliy it was only for a short time and not late at night.

The Anglers Inn accommodation offers great value for money. The studio apartment was very clean and well equipped. You also get Foxtel TV which was a bonus. The bed was a double bed and could've done with being a bit bigger (Queen) but otherwise very comfy.

Great location to the town and great restaurant and outdoor beer garden attached to the motel.

Reasonably spacious and very clean room. Facilities adequate for a two night stay. Loved the bathroom with a nice hot shower. Able to park the car out front of the door.

Shower taps need washers replaced. Turning off very tightly still did not stop dripping. We were in unit 6.

Great location just a short drive to the beach

The shower floor was very slippery. I was not game to lift my feet after taking my place in the shower for fear of falling.A non-slip coating would greatly improve safety in the shower

Will never attend the anglers inn again

Manager and owner was rude and intimidating. A mix up with the booking resulting in a very unsavoury situation where my friend was very frightened. Alternate accommodation was organised by the manager to a sub standard accommodation. Anglers inn is only average accommodation but where we were sent was so much worse although the managers were very welcoming. Anglers inn offered to pay for the new accommodation it was a lesser cost of what we had already paid. Unfortunately our stay in wallaroo was a very unhappy one we only stayed one night.

Very well situated & clean

We couldn’t get a table for the evening meal.O the first night, had to eat outside in the back garden.Second night, the same, except we were advised to go elsewhere.Maybe keep a couple of table aside for guests.When they book-in, ask if they require a table for the meal, if not, then use it for other customers.

Clean and cosy - good price too! Very accommodating when my little one was sick and they were able/willing to provide early check in, bless!

Location, staff was welcoming, amenities, the place was clean. Liquor land is just next door. Appreciate the place for making the 3rd bed in the 3rd room we booked. The space is fine enuf. Rooms had cutlery and storage place.Lighting in 2 rooms were dim. Parking space in front of rooms was good.

One room didn't have amenities like the hand wash and bath wash was empty/not refilled. The 3rd bed in one room was not comfortable could have been a single bed. Walls r thin ?.

Hotel was amazing, looks recently renovated and very new. Their facilites will put other similarly priced or pricier accomodations to shame. It was very clean and feels extremely comfortable, had some decent kitchen appliances.

This facility gets docked from 10 to 8 because the sound insulation on the walls were really bad. If you have noisy neighbours who like to be up way past midnight, be prepared to stay awake. There were 2 groups of other folks living beside us and they constantly moved in and out of Room 6 which was right beside our Room 5.They were obnoxiously noisy and chatted loudly way pass 1 am in the morning. Both outside at the car parking area and inside the room. Even what seemed like normal conversation can be heard, made worst when they suddenly laughed or decided to up their talking volume.

Unlike Room 5, these Rooms did not have obnoxious neighbours, hence the stay was extremely pleasant. As a result their stay was indefinitely better than mine. They even commented it was one of the best experience they had in the region.

the beds weren’t too comfortable. but it’s fine and it’s somewhere to sleep but the mattress is just a tad hard.

Surprised at how comfortable and clean the room was, especially as the outside looked pretty average.

Being woken up before 6:00am by the neighbouring rooms noisey conversation before they left for work.

Room looked fresh, modern and well appointed. Bar and restaurant were very welcome and good value

More power sockets needed

The room was clean the bed was very comfortable and all cutlery etc was available.

Very noisy as right next to hotel. Lots of banging of doors.

Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, cutlery and tea/coffee facilities in room, streaming capability from phone to TV.

Might be good to add some signs on the parking spots in front of the rooms to make it easier to tell that spots are allocated.

This property seems to be a hidden gem in Wallaroo! Although it doesn’t look very impressive at first glance, the rooms were immaculate and had all amenities we needed for our short stay. We stayed in a triple room (#18) which seemed to be newly renovated and not too close to the gaming room which was ideal for us. There is an onsite bistro which is convenient but we didn’t get the chance to try that one out. Overall, the location was perfect and check in was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again!
