Comfortable room and bed. Good hot water and shower. Good secure wi-fi. The contactless check in went better than we expected. Very easy. Nice and quiet location.

Lack of power points for laptop and phone and tablet chargers. Only one Dpp. Lucky we travel with a power cube.

Very friendly, clean and perfect location We booked last minute and received very prompt service. Rooms were just what we needed and the creek was a pleasant surprise.Thank you

The location and rooms are good as is Burra town, but completely overshadowed by a theft accusation with unauthorised charge of card by the unprofessional owner.

We stayed here while driving across the Nullarbor from Perth. Our stay at the Burra Inn was marred significantly by the serious accusation of the theft of a pillow after our checkout, with the owner Robert Frischke accusing us over the phone, and having already charged the card without discussion or consent. By luck we were still in Burra and we returned immediately to address the claim, insisting on speaking to him, despite Robert advising he would be busy on calls.Despite the many, many more plausible explanations - the Burra Inn rooms are unlocked for hours prior to our check in, confirmation of the cleaners of the last clean date a day prior, offers of inspection of our car - "you guys could have taken it out anywhere" - we found Robert to be totally unprofessional, rude and dismissive and that he would refund as needed once he had reviewed the security cameras, at which point we became aware he had already charged the card. He abruptly left the conversation with "bye, talk to the hand".We followed up with a direct email requesting for the security footage, the cleaning log, and for the refund. To this date we have received no response, apart from a silent refund a few days later.It’s a pity as we found the location and rooms to be good, but this whole ordeal completely soured our experience and we wanted to share so that other patrons can be on alert.

Nice location. Peaceful nice room. Good location. Close to food, shopping.

Parking needs signage to direct people to angle park correctly.

Central location. The bathroom was well cleaned. it was nice being able to have access to Foxtel and Netlfix.

10am checkout is too early, Pool was closed and sounds like its only open for a very short time from 2pm-6pm when it is working. There is limited dining options in the town so would've been nice if the restaurant was open too.

The motel has a good location on the banks of the creek- also a resident duck, which has obviously been fed by guests. It’s quite run down and has seen better days, but it was OK for one night, given that it didn’t cost much. Owner was supposed to send an email with instructions,but I didn’t get one. He was OK when I knocked and asked, but I don’t really understand why they couldn’t be there to welcome guests.

Location was good.

The pool hasn't been in use for about 2 years. Up date your website. If you aren't going to fix the pool remove it from your signage and web information. Gold chain my foot. Some of your posts aren't conected to the roof due to wood rot or lack of screws.

Staff were extremely rude. No mention of restaurant and pool not working until you received email from property. Had to wait outside in carpark to receive our check in.

Checkin was quick and easy with our receipt already printed out. The building was lovely with grapevines along the front and back verandahs. We could park right outside the door. The location was great, backing onto a creek, and it was close to main attractions. The bed was comfy and big and had bedside tables on each side. The aircon was efficient. The WiFi was good quality. The milk provided was in a bottle not a (squirty) tetrapack. Roomy shower.

Few PowerPoints and none on either side of the bed to charge our phones. No shower caps provided. Cracks in shower tiles. Some visible stains on the carpet (but it was clean). Not much vanity space.

The carpets are stained and the mattress is not very comfortable, you can feel the springs. It needs a topper or new mattress.
