Royal Sarovar Portico Siliguri

Spacious Good Parking location

In room dining could be better

Nice rooms , nice swimming pool , nice complimentary unlimited breakfast and unlimited snacks , nice sports facilities , nice fridge in room

Bad view , no mountain view available . Food is too costly a quarter of mutton cost Rs 600. One basic lunch can cost Rs 2000/- but portions too less. Room fridge items r too costly , cold drink price is Rs 40 but u are charging 100. What is this business ? Also no bengali dishes in complimentary breakfast. Why. Hotel is in wb but only south indian dishes available . What is this ?

Passable

The reception staff don’t wish you or even acknowledge you when you enter the hotel. The bell boys and the restaurant staff were courteous and had manners.

Cleanliness and professional behaviour of staff.

Room was not big enough for a family stay.

Breakfast spread was very good. Much more than room comfort.

Furniture in rooms old fashioned and looked aging. No view. Toilet lighting poor. Cleanliness in room could improve. Packaged water not served and absurd price quoted.

This is my 2nd time visiting the hotel. The staffs in reception and the one who helped me with luggage were very professional. Location is amazing as it is just few mins to Vega mall. I had some request and staffs in reception made it quick response to it.

Everything was fine except the room I requested to change. I’ve asked for swimming pool view and I got one but it was 504 which literally had no view as their 4th floor ceiling was blocking it. Other than that everything was fine and smooth.

On a busy road in Siliguri. Not an attractive building inside.Food in the restaurant excellent and staff very friendly.

Interior of the building old and in need of redecorating. The hotel is on a very busy and noisy road but you don't hear the noise from the room.

Breakfast was really good. Staffs was really nice.

Room was small than expected at that price

Property is located in good place and clean

The AC in the room was not working properly, systems are too old

Excellent Staff, very nice, clean and comfortable rooms, awesome breakfast - 5 out of 5

NA

Very bad experience this property .No toilet kits No complimentary breakfast room is very dirty

Location is good but the property feels outdated.

Room floors were wornout and need good renovation as the hotel location is too good to witness such defects

Well in short and sweet much better improved than i stayed back in June 2024.Having brand of sarovar no bar license sound strange only one restaurant. Please at least bar is mandate?. Over all great staff under great management.

Disappointing

i am disappointed with the level of cleanliness in the room. the beds were contaminated with bed bugs and later that day caused me and my family bedbugs bite. never staying in this hotel again.

Room given to me was a damp room on the top floor where afterwards on complaint my room was changed and the washroom was also not so clean, plus we expect at least brush & savings kids, room slippers to be given. Very disappointing stay.

Not worth my time and money

The staff and the manager need to change if the owner of this business really cares about his/her business. The staff at desk there showed a typical kanjus street mindset where this location doesn’t even seem like a 3 or 4 star hotel. It feels so cheap with the kind of staff around this at desk and the manager himself. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. Go and stay somewhere else. It’s not worth it. Trust me it’s not.

The hotel meets it's expectations of a 4 star hotel.

The hotel has centralized AC and no fans.we have a habit of sleeping with AC and fan so couldn't sleep comfortably at all. Besides we have to ask for all the basic Toileteries which should have been placed already in the room. Hope they have an arrangement for table fan for claustrophobic people.

The dinner and breakfast were really good. The restaurant staff is very polite, helpful and the food was also as expected.

Work ongoing around the swimming pool and evening snacks is not regulated properly. Evening snacks would depend on the mood of the staff! But I asked for it and they provided good pakoras.

The location is really good. Facilities are good and property is newly built. Supportive staff are lacking.

The front office staff are not at all cooperative or helpful in any way. The lack the basics of hospitality. This property can do wonders with better staff quality.

It was an expensive hotel without having basic facilities e.g., wifi was not working. The food was extremely costly. The room was not clean at all, particularly the bed sheet. Bathroom wastewater was not flowing into the outlet.

Not good at all.
