There wasn't anything to be liked at this property. The location is pathetic , right next to poultry market, the staff not very polite, no in house restaurant, the cable connection wasn't working, the wifi is just for the galleries. To have good speed you will have to stay out of the room. The bathroom faucets were leaking. Better look out for other hotels in vicinity if you want to stay in this area.They asked to book directly instead of accepting booking via booking .comFurther, they charged the entire amount as was required to be paid via booking .com and later on showed trip as cancelled saying you didn't sho up at the property. Unethical, fraud people

Check In process. They usually called the day before check In. Confirmed the time, usually all know that, from Kolkata mostly bus and train, reach siliguri early morning. After getting confirmation once you reach hotel that, you can check In, then the worst scene will come, they will keep you waiting till 10am.No point of argument, they will say please wait. You even can't place any order for breakfast until not getting the room.
I don't like my staying at the hotel. There was a non veg (chicken) market just behind my room windo
Not worthy of the money I had spent. Booking.com charges more than the hotel itself.There were chicken shops nearby and I had to hear the sounds of killing of hens.

Non AC rooms have no air flow. Washroom doesn't have an exhaust fan. Makes you feel suffocating. Even the corridor is air locked. Windows can't be opened due to unhygienic surroundings.

It is located close to bustling Hong Kong market and smelly chicken market. Poor chicken... The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I stayed at non ac room and it was very hot even at night. Anyway staying at Nilandri Galaxy was quie an experience.
Location wise, It's a superb. Everything is just few step away.Food is very good.Peoples are very cooperative.

I booked a hotel through the Booking.com app, opting for a double bed at 1200+rs total. At check-in, the receptionist asked if I preferred a single or double bed, and assuming he meant whether I was alone or with someone, I chose single. However, I ended up with a small single bed room despite paying 1200rs. Realizing a double bed would have been a better option for the price, I inquired about the difference, but the receptionist insisted on charging 1300rs for a double bed.
Overall, the experience was satisfactory, despite the noisy and crowded market surroundings. The rooms were of good quality, and the service was commendable.
