Hopetoun Motel & Chalet Village

I like the spacious space of kitchen, dining and living room. The rooms are comfortable and the toilets are functional.The big balcony also very useful especially during a slightly warm weather.

Laundry is outside the house

My vehicle broke down and I advised them at about 5am the day of my stay I could not get there and they refused to refund me anything

The room was very clean and very well set up. it was a nice comfortable set up. Check in was smooth and easy and staff were knowledgeable efficient and friendly. a great set up and will stay there again when back that way.

Basic room, clean, bed comfortable, small kitchenette.

No bowls for breakfast, no dinner plates. Only one pillow per person. Odd mix of crockery. Did not like being asked for $150 security deposit after having prepaid in full. Overpriced for what it is in a dead end location.

There is not much choice in accommodation in Hopetoun and this is reflected in the prices .The unit we had would benefit from refurbishment. The location is within a 2 minute walk of the shops and cafes and a few minutes drive to Fitzgerald River NP

Position is perfect. Good bathroom and good hob in kitchen area. Excellent laundry here.

Place feeling a bit dated now, we have stayed here several times before. And overpriced for what you get Although some bits have improved, bed uncomfortable and lack of indoor seating annoying. Very noisy on our last night with drunks sitting outside well into the evening. There should be a code asking people to respect other guests.

Weren’t informed about a bond before arriving. Later sent email and never received response

Comfortable and cosy chalet near town centre. Beds were very comfy and the location was nice

The room was satisfactory but basic.

Received an email a day or so prior advising that check in was between 3pm and 6pm and that if we were after 6pm we would be charged $30 per hour for each hour we were late.Only crockery was mugs and side plates. There were no bowls or dinner plates.Dreadful wifi.Very little to do in Hopetoun if you don't want to go to the beach.

Comfortable and clean. Quiet and handy to the bakery being on the Main Street.

The fact that the first interaction was an email the day before saying if we didn’t arrive between 3 and 6 pm there would an extra charge per hour. We turned up between those times to find a sign with back in 15 mins with no time saying when that would be - so we waited and then left coming back still between those hours. The bond was taken - the only place that this happened even though other places say they will but don’t and we were told it would take 5 days to get back. All other places it was 1 day. Then in the room there was a list of all the charges you would be paying for - it was just so unfriendly as was the person at the desk. But that is just my perspective.

Good location and parking.

The bed was on wheels and it moved when you got in and out of bed.

Room was very clean towels were changed regularly, excellent kitchen for use.

Easy parking and close to the supermarket, bakery and beach.

There is no self check in process in place and the reception close at 6:00pm. The surcharge of $30 per hour applies for the arrivals after 6pm. This is not friendly for the road trip. We spent four weeks in WA and stayed in multiple places, this accommodation is the ONLY place can’t self check in but it has a box to return the room key for check out.

That it is very well located walking distance to beautiful beaches and was very good value

Has a skylight which in the morning let a bit to much light as I wanted a sleep in

Cannot check in till after 3pm. Person at reception was a bit aggressive. We didn’t know about the $150 holding fee that takes five working days to go back into our account. Messages on the door of the room are very badly worded.

Very comfortable and quiet. We slept well!
