About
Adamsons Riverside sits thirty yards from the riverbank at the river entrance to Margaret River town. The lower end of town, with its restaurants, the Margaret River Bakery, Two Cracks Coffee, Temper Temper Fine Chocolate, Red Sea Gallery and the Sons and Daughters cellar door, is under a minute's walk, and the main street is two minutes further up the hill. The other way leads to the Old Settlement Museum, the Hairy Marron bike hire and café, and the walking and mountain-bike trails of Wooditjup National Park. Pacific Black Ducks and Wood Ducks come up from the river into the front gardens, where guests join the 4pm duck feeding from early spring to late autumn. Adamsons also hosts Duckhouse Sessions, live-music afternoons with musicians from the region, Perth and abroad. Unpretentious cottage-style rooms and self-contained apartments, each with its own courtyard or balcony, set around a covered communal courtyard with a BBQ.

Cons -
- no special relationship with restaurant across the street. They did not seat us on Sat night. (pretty good food there on Friday night.)
- The wardrobe was too small for two people. hinge broken . toilet paper was cheap & nasty. drain in bathroom disgusting. dishes were not done on the first morning & empty pizza box was not thrown out. Lights on till midnight. No sleep before midnight.
- when the cleaners came in daily, they did not vacuum the floor which was messy and that didn't make sense when towels had been changed and a general tidyup

The apparent was good and clean. There was everything you need. The location is perfect, nearby Margaret River and walking track .
The apartment is a little bit small and dark
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice courtyard with bbq facilities.
We left early. Bed was so uncomfortable to sleep in. Mattress was so hard and had multiple dips in - it was like a corrugated road. Well passed it's used by date. Public toilet was out the back door and every time someone used it the door would have a loud bang as it was heavy metal. (this is the council issue but hopefully the venue can negotiate something to make it quiet). Advertised sitting area which was a fold up table with 2 wooden kitchen chairs. Mould present on bathroom window frame which may have been due to exhaust fan not working which staff did get fixed as soon as we informed them. We left early as needed to have a good sleep - we were exhausted from the discomfort and noise. Have informed the property so hopefully will address issues for future guests. Our friends had other rooms which were comfortable and quiet so we just coped a bad room (room 4)
Adamson Riverside is both charming and quirky, with lovely gardens and sculptures everywhere. It has an old world feel but with all the modern conveniences. The units were clean and tidy and warm when we arrived (big bonus in winter). There were plenty of towels and toiletries and blankets. Location was great, on the edge of town near the river. It was a very short walk to find great coffee and good food.
So cozy and best location for walking to cafes and restaurants. Also off the Main Street so nice and quiet
It was a very cold night and the AC/heater was not working. But I used the heat blanket.
Fantastic location, close to everything, could walk to pub for dinner
Needs a good cleaning, bathroom grotty, floor and wall tiles need cleaning, curtains to verandah dirty, cushions on verandah stained and dirty, chair near door had large stain on it, not inviting to sit on. Very old style, needs some decent pillows, they were like rocks
Great location. Spacious place
Was allocated the room right at the corner of a junction. very noisy road especially nearing the morning ~5am. Only had heater in the common room, bedroom was a little too cold.
Comfy bed, est garden with interesting pieces on it. Nice room with block out curtains. Getting a bit tired
Curtains were pretty old
Amazing Location! Perfect walking distance to the Main Street, bars, bakery,s hopping!
Location was great, friendly staff, sufficient amenities.
Balcony doors need secure locks, there was a funky smell in the room otherwise was great stay.
Size of the room and location.
Parking.
The location is good for the town. Plenty of tea, coffee, milkElectric blanket on the bed, clean bedding. Clean shower.
It was very tired, damaged hooks in the bathroom, the kettle handle was damaged. The TV remote had no back on it. The furniture was mismatched and old. The room smelled musty, the balcony was dusty and the microwave shelf. The noise from the road was loud and constant till after about 11pm, then started again around 4am,
Excellent location, central to Margaret River.Friendly staff. Adequate facilities - everything you needed.Good off-street parking.Outdoor covered area.Front garden had ducks, parrots and the Easter bunny!
Only one thing, our blanket was not clean
Location, gardens, close to the best pizza we've tasted in Australia (Pizzica)!!
Pillows were very uncomfortable, the property and furnishings are showing signs of age
Location and price were good. Really liked our little deck overlooking the garden.
Room was okay, shower was clean but there was grime along the skirting. Bed was a bit firmer than I like. TV wasn't connected on arrival and there was rubbish on our outdoor table.
Rooms were cleaned daily except we had an unpleasant incident on arrival. However, we received a verbal apology and it was sorted.
Room views weren't as described though we understand this was the ground floor level. The shower didn't have enough water pressure so literally trickling water to shower with.
Good value for money accommodation, walking distance to all the restaurants in town nice park/walk trail next door for a walk/bike ride.
Bit of road noise being so close to the main road.
