Higgins Lane Motel

I liked the location, the reasonable pricing, the availability of all services and the closeness to local shopping centre and sporting facilities

It would be nice if the hotel had tab facilities and the rooms had wireless connectivity. The toilet in the room was leaking badly

We really appreciated the comfortable spacious room, the ease of parking and the very convenient location in the centre of town.

We would have appreciated a hook or towel rack for the hand towel in the bathroom.

Everything was great from the no contact check in to the facilities to the location and price.

The room wasn't what we saw online. The room was dated as was the shower/bathroom.

Roomy clean and very close to all shops cafes restaurants

We couldn’t work out the beside lamps but not a problem really.

The bed are old and very soft I had very bad back pain the next day… no product for shower

Location to Main Street

Very drab , suggest repaint to white walls plus some area pictures to lift interior as is large unit and only one canvas. Also ONLY location after 7 previous towns on our trip that did not supply shampoo/conditioner satchels but also no face washer(cloth) in bathroom. At $351 for 2 nights third dearest but ranked 7 out of 8 on our WA road trip.

Would prefer a hob for cooking but knew this was not part of the facilities

Very comfortable room with disability bathroom. Location is great with only a short walk to the main strip & Woolworths & laundromat across the street.

Location was superb- right in the centre of Margaret River. Comfy bed and all amenities I needed- microwave, toaster, kettle etc. Parking right outside room.

Cleanliness wasn’t to a high standard. Lots of cobwebs in bathroom, a pile of dark hair in the corner of the bathroom floor (I’m blonde!) and no shower curtain when I checked in during the evening. Couldn’t shower (due to lack of shower curtain) until the following morning as reception was only manned from 9am-5pm. Quite dated- 5 different coloured tiles in bathroom where it had been patched up over the years! No kitchen sink so had to wash up in bathroom.

A great little clean unit in a fabulous location, comfortable bed and staycation

it would be good to have a sink in the kitchen to make washing kitchen utensils easier

Ideally location off the Main Street, easy walking distance to restaurants and bars

Unfortunately the partition wall in the family room stopped the air flow from the air con unit, making one side of the room quite warm at night

Location was brilliant for us as a family with Woolworths across the road and Coles and IGA 50m away. Also restaurants we frequented a couple of minutes by foot as well as the main street. Comfort was good with aircon/heater, microwave, good bedding and nice pillows.

Bit of noise earlier in the morning from renovation of hotel across the lane. This is not the fault of Higgins Lane Motel of course.

Location was perfect, clean and tidy, a little tired but perfect for what we wanted.
