Tasman Holiday Parks - Papamoa Beach

The place was really modern and clean, great location right on the beach and directly across the street from supermarket, cafes and restaurant/bar.

The gate system doesn’t work. The code we were given didn’t work on the pool door or one of the exit gates and the automatic number plate recognition only worked on one entry gate but not the exit which was challenging.

We had a few local friends over for drinks for murrays bday so the location was handy and the room spacious

The Location was great. Right on the beach with close access start onto beach. Cleanliness was beautiful. Overall very comfortable!!

Access to the beautiful beach, gorgeous resort style slightly heated pool, plenty of umbrella's etc, hot pool and our villa had a lovely spa bath and very modern bathroom with awesome LED light. Also, slept very well on comfy bed and couldn't hear any noise from outside or from next door!

Very minor - bowls to have cereal in were very flat/shallow. Also, we were looking forward to trying out the cafe but it was closed on Mondays so we ended up walking to the Plaza which actually turned out to be really good with plenty of food options!

The beach was really long in both directions. The pool was pretty also.

Wristbands and 4 number codes on toilets, showers and pool entries. I had problems entering their codes. Usually 3-4 times before the lock opens. Very frustrating. The pools entry code stopped working an hour before the closing time of the pool. It resulted in people opening the gate from inside to let legitimate guests in the pool area.

We had a standard cabin which was great in every other aspect apart from being so HOT at night time with NO air-conditioning or fan

Everything. Access to beach and facilities was easy. Lots of kids entertainment.

We had a Garden Villa 42 and was so good rebooked again for Xmas.

Actually we arrived a little early approx 12noon, Check in for our room was 3.00pm I asked if we could relax beside the pool till check in and was advise we could not which I thought was disappointing.So we drove around for a couple hours till 2.30pm.

Beautiful location and had lots of activities for kids

Everyone had to wear a colored bracelet that wasn't to be removed until you checked out. I didnt think it was acceptable to be forced to wear these as it wasn't very comfortable and also didnt want to wear out at restaurants or around town.

Everything was extremely good except the bed was to big n I feel it only needs a queen size one so you can have a single bed if needed.My back was quite sore.So them's the break will be back again even if my back hurts.

There's nothing that we didn't like only i find the price but then you are paying for the view. Have you thought of doing Gold Card for over 65yrs just a thought apart from that it was extremely awesome.

The pool complex was amazing and my daughter had the most wonderful time! I felt so lucky to be upgraded to a beachfront cabin with a spa bath. We had shocking weather so the spa bath was a bonus. The view and location to the beach was excellent. We loved it.

The cost is definitely pricey. I desperately wanted to extend my stay by one more night, there was a room available but the cost was $599! With a spare room available on the day I checked out, it would have been amazing if they could be flexible on pricing as they did not have a booking . The cabin was lovely, but $600 a night? Come on! The room was tidy, however on our first night ants got into our Nutella which had to be disposed of.

Location was excellent. Walking to the beach was a breeze with beautiful views. Mall is nearby if you need any last minute items. Room (cabin) was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Heated pool and spa pool was the best.

Unit we stayed at was slightly outdated but not a deal breaker.

Good, we made do with the heater and using the bbq to cook our meal

A heater was provided, but the cord was quite short and could reach the only power point in the room by setting it up on the kitchen bench. Not sure if this would meet the H&S standards..also, no pots or pans were provided, only plates, bowls, cups and cutlery. Not great if you plan to cook yourself.

The facilties were great, staff were great. My 2 years old loved the pool, we really enjoyed our stay.

Everything was good and clean, except one thing i found in the bunk bed. When i went to the bottom level of the bunk bed to sleep - there was something hanging by the slate plate of the upper bunk bed. It was a tube shape with red liquid in it which gave me a fright, i turned the light and it was a freezing pop tube with red liquid in it, i assume previous guest had freeze pop in the bed and left it by upper bed slate. It was in the tricky place so i do t blame cleaners but it would have been better if it wasn there.

The pool and spa were excellent. Our grandkids had a ball. We also loved the coffee and ice-cream trucks on site and the coffee and tea selection in the villa.The staff were very helpful and helped everyone promptly and efficiently, as well as putting on activities for the kids.We found it very convenient to walk to the beach, cafe and supermarket.

We could have done with a few more pots and pans, storage,, salad and dinner prep items.In the heat of summer the bunk bed room was extremely hot, even after we bought fans from home. One of the king beds was uncomfortable ( far too soft)Our drying rack needed replacing.We would not choose to come this early in January again as the pool and spa were crowded.

Fantastic location right next to the beach and a block walk to Papamoa shopping mall. Plenty of on site activities for the kids too.
