we often chose this accommodation and like the locations for being close to the township and view is nice.

We used to be regulars. The lady that checked us in was nice, but we didn't get any milk not even the capsules instead of fresh. backpackers noisy most of night. Previous owners did not allow this. Plus room had a musty damp smell.

The spa and pool was great. Very friendly staff. Loved the lights in the pohutukawa trees.

When booking it didn't say that there were extra charges until I had completed the booking and the total to pay came up. No reflection on the motel just the booking sight.

We had a very small cabin. A lovely comfortable bed & nice linen.Swimming pool was lovely & warm.Staff friendly.

Our room was by the road, thus quite noisy with local traffic. We had a bad odour during our stay, some issue about the plumbing, which was known but not given the opportunity to move to another room.

Good area on a level block. Walk to town in 5 minutes. Very clean rooms. Free parking close to your room. Good safe area.

At a walking distance from the Main Street, the Anchor lodge is clean and comfy

We were put in a lovely place over looking the pool, table and chairs on the deck so we could relax and look at the scenery.

Outdoor furniture could do with updating as they were a little wobbly.

Location was perfect. Rooms were lovely and clean. Staff were great

No aircon which was disappointing but they did have a small fan and a ceiling fan on when we got there.

Perfect motel for our family to stay in for a couple of days exploring the area. Kids enjoyed the small pool. Staff were very friendly.

The room was clean and well stocked. There was no a/c, but the fans were very helpful. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The location was close to town but still quiet.

I was looking for a quiet 1 night stay before embarking on the Pahi Coastal walk. And that I got! I appreciated a warm, friendly welcome from the owners after a long drive. My room was clean, the bed comfortable, and despite facing the road, the location was quiet. A short walk into Coromandel village was handy for dinner. Thank you Anchor Lodge, I would stay again!

location was good, a short stroll up to the town centre with shops and restaurants. Aprtment was clean and had enough facilities for an overnight stop.

The short pedestal fan didn't really cut it on a very humid day to keep the room cool.

Sue was a very welcome and gracious host. The accommodation was lovely and within a short walk of the town which had everything anyone could need. There were lots of attractions within a short drive.

Great location. Very easy to walk into the town. The staff were very lovely as well!

Can get a bit hot in the night. Though there are two fans that helps out.

Spacious, clean, close to shops, friendly staff

Due to a major weather event unfolding in the region and being unable to reach our already booked accommodation elsewhere, this was a last minute booking and one of the very few rooms left in the town. We ended up with a very small but well fitted out cabin (rightly named 'The last Resort'). Everything was provided that you would find in a higher end hotel. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. The manager was extremely helpful and keen to make sure our stay was a good one.

Arrived after hours and very clear instructions were left in the after hour box but also meet by delightful motel manager

We booked two family spa apartments as we were a group of 10. There was plenty of space and everyone enjoyed their stay. The proximity to Coromandel town was fantastic.

Easy access the view was lovely and it lovely and hotel people really lovely and helpful
