    Pros +

    • The staff was so kind and the everything was set up to make tour stay better.
    • Other than that nice place for kids and good area for camper vans the cabins were nice and the pool wasa hit .
    • Helpful friendly receptionist at checkin. Location close to Coromandel pub so we could walk there for dinner

    Cons -

    • The doors made a lot of noise in high wind and it woke me up.
    • The toilet block was quite small for the amount of people there and I think it could go with an up grade
    • Not very soundproof. We could hear the People in the adjoining cabin talking loudly. It kept us awake

Close to Coramandel Town. Comfortable bed.

The swimming pool didn't seem heated as stated online.

Cute little affordable cabins to spend the night! We got recommended the hotel next door to grab dinner and it was also great!

Great location, easy stroll to restaurants and dairy. Warm pool and kids loved the bouncy pillow.

    Squeaky bunks

I like the kitchen, we had a good position room. I want that room next time.

    The pool wasnt hot enough.

    Passable

No notification on closed roads and our family had no choice but to do a u-turn from Cathedral Cove and go a long way around the Coromandel. We wasted a lot of time just driving and when we arrived, the day is almost over and we’re not able to enjoy the facilities.

    Was good basic accommodation

Worst bed I've slept on. Ended up with a room that had a bunk bed which didn't seem bad when making the booking. However, they were quite squeaky and would make noise every time you sat on them or turned in your sleep, which for someone who is a light sleeper didn't help.

Cabin size was sufficient to move in without falling over a bags etc. Bunk was king single so more comfortable for an adult

    Not recommended

I am giving an honest review about this place. THINK TWICE before spending your hard-earned money here. The facilities are average for the price; it's too expensive. The pool isn't heated, the room is small, and cleanliness is lacking. A few old utensils make cooking difficult. The location is poor, as driving via Highway 25 is challenging. The town offers little, and the staff seems indifferent, focusing only on your spending.

Friendly staff who would go out of their way to provide assistance. My daughters requested dry towels after their towels got soaking wet from the pools, and they weren't supposed to have any as we were given towels on arrival. However, the lovely staff member gave them some. Apologies, I forgot her name. We stayed in Cabin 16, and we can fit up to 10 people, but there were only 4 of us. The wooden bunk beds were warm and comfortable. Basic room with just a table, x2 chairs and a heater but cosy and comfy. My daughters aged 14, 8 &9 really enjoyed the heated pools, giant pillows, and the lounging/gaming areas that kept them occupied throughout their 3 day stay. Tasman holiday park is super close to the shopping centre, great walking distance. The facility is relentlessly clean, the communal kitchen and bathrooms are always clean. I read some unpleasant reviews about this place, and I thought WOW everyone is different with their expectations, but for me and my girls, it's such a SAFE place for kids even the fridge/freezer is safe to store your food in a cooling bags. There's also bike to hire for $10/hourly and ride around the facility. We wanted to stay another 2 night but when we checked on line and it was fully booked. So, it was a bummer!.I recommend this place if you're not expecting too much of a 5 star motel/hotel accommodation but for us this place deserves a 5 Star rating for its maintenance of the grounds, clean facility plus they have everything you need for kitchenette, BBq areas etc. The Coromandel people are friendly and hospitable! We would definitely return back and stay in Tasman Park. Thank you for serving us. Bless you all ?

Location, good staffs, and the facility provides good service and clean common area esp. bathroom/toilet.

Only the bed and pillow sheets should be thoroughly washed to maintain a clean bed because I think it smells like it hasn't been changed but actually it looks clean, only smells like used...maybe the pillows and duvets needs to be washed too sometime. But overall experience was outstanding, good job!

The room was spacious and clean. The pool was opposite our villa which was great. The go kart was lots of fun too. The staff were super friendly. Close to the shops, Driving Creek Railway and the gorgeous bays.

Boys Fishing trip with my dad, brother and a mate. Mum decided to join us also at last minute. Thought the extra charge for Mum was unnecessary given how much they were charging us already. Really made no difference as shared the same linen etc.

Almost Everything Kitchen finished, pool is great

The rooms are really too noisy, we could hear everyone around talking till late at night as if we were in their rooms, we could even hear them snore! The walls are too thin

    9JacquelinePosted on: 3-20-2025

    Great little well equipped unit

The bed prevented the bedroom door from shutting in main bedroomCould have done with an extra mirror as only one was in bathroom

    5DarrenPosted on: 3-18-2025

Good location, nice surrounding scenery, receptionist very friendly and welcoming. BBQ area was great.

The cabins were very very basic, all cutlery plates glasses etc are located in separate area. Toilet and Showers were not very clean and could do with being modernised a little. The pool was cold and not very clean.
