Huskisson Beach Motel

The rooms feel relatively new and are very clean. The motel is calm and quiet, not overcrowded, which made the stay relaxing. Check-in was easy and convenient at any time using the self-service screen, with no need to wait for staff. The room was well equipped with plenty of facilities, and housekeeping refreshed the room daily. Parking was also conveniently available within the premises.

The rooms are on the smaller side. Unfortunately, it rained throughout the weekend, so we couldn’t fully enjoy the stay. Amenities could be slightly improved—for example, providing more soap would be helpful.

Location was excellent, room was clean, staff were friendly.

Nothing I didn’t like, but it is a motel and was expensive. It’s a very beautiful and touristy area, so the rules of demand and supply apply.

Close to restaurants / coffee shops

There is no parking for every unit, even though this was stated in the booking information.

The wifi reception was so poor it constantly disconnected, so I put my phone on the window and hotspoted my phone's 4g connection...(Which was also extremely poor but better than your wifi) The air-conditioning was set on 18, full fan, full cold, and I was covered in sweat all night with no blankets or sheets, butt naked. Get your air conditioning serviced! And get more wifi routers... Its a brick building, do your homework.

No ventilation in the bathroom and bathroom should be a bit bigger for the price

Great location, room was simple though clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. Great views from the balcony, we will be back!

The room was nice, clean, comfy and bright! The bed and pillows (there were spares) were surprisingly comfortable (I struggle to sleep anywhere but home, but I was out like a light!) Super close to the city centre... perfect for stumbling home after dinner at the Husky and wandering out for a bite of breakfast in the morning.

The cool white lights/lamps were horrible, but would be an easy fix by management. Not a deal breaker. Decor was a bit dated but was clean and in good condition.

Location was good, very close to eateries and beach.

Actually very disappointed with the room. Comfortable bed but room very small, and only a jug in the room, no toaster, no microwave, no crockery and no cutlery. We had driven for 5hours and just wanted take away for tea, and had to eat our meal out of a paper bag. No plates and no way of heating it up. Could not have cereal for breakfast because no crockery. We paid $157.50 for that room when we booked, and for the day we stayed the price had dropped to $138. Sorry , don’t usually complain but this was really disappointing

Good location

Bathroom was not clean. Self checkin through computer feels a bit like a McDonald’s self service machine. Not very personal. Then no staff around to ask questions.

Disappointing

Beds were wonky and uncomfortable. Felt very tired and a bit dirty. Would have been fine if the price was halved !

The location was great and the place was clean. 90 percent of the staff were fantastic.

The hot water didn’t work and the lady I spoke to about it was dismissive and seemed not to care.I can only assume that it was her boss I dealt with later and he was much more helpful and friendly.

Small Room for 4 people. Small shower. TV position hanging to Wardrobe, Overall the room doesn't look right for 4 people.

The cleanliness of the room and the excellent location. Staff were also very friendly and helpful.

A very noisy location, and the rooms aren't sound insulated very well either. TV wasn't working. And was promised a car park but came back from a day out and no car spaces available.

The motels responses to my questions were quick and Elizabeth was very helpful. The location is superb, right across from the beach with easy walk to cafes and shops. Room was comfortable. Ample parking for our cars. Parking on the street was also easily available.

Basic but functional

Pot plants outside our front door seemed like they hadn’t been watered in years better to remove than leave eye sore on a veranda for all to see not good

It was exactly how it looked in the pictures. Entire experience of staying was smooth. Check-in and check-out is automated, but may need help if you are a first timer like me. Arrive before 6PM. We always managed to get parking inside, but its not a concern as there are plenty of spots. Thats pretty much the notes from me.

Nothing much. we thought the price was a bit on the higher end, but so was everything else in Jervis Bay.
