Hotel Basant Sarovar

The stay was very pleasant and comfortable at Basant Sarovar. Neat and clean rooms and the staff was very helpful. Quiet location.

Location was a bit far from the main city.

Absolutely nothing. The location is not glamorous but convenient for the railway stations and a 10 minutes drive from the Riverside temples of Mathura.

We had a lot of issues with no wifi and no hot waterMost days the elevators did not work The curtains were ripped and so they did not close properly or block out the lightBreakfast was adequate

I recommend this hotel to everyone! The room was nice and clean. There’s delicious food is the hotel restaurant. But the greatest one in the hotel is Kamal Tiwari - the person who can help you with anything! I was travelling alone so I asked him to recommend me a person who can show me the city, so Kamal Tiwari organised me a wonderful personal excursion. I had a great time!Thank you for great staying in the hotel!

Location wasn’t near many things but not too far.

Around Mathura station, There is some hotel registered at booking.com claiming to be close from the station but actually it is NOT. This place is a safe bet.

Room service and the quality of the food was very good.

My booking included breakfast which they refused to honor. My booking included a suite and a standard room but they gave me 2 standard rooms at the booked price. I was told that If I as unhappy about the booking, I could cancel but they would charge me fr the first night.

Hospitality of staff was good and welcoming ..Services were prompt .And the staff were accommodating and flexible .Very happy with them .Got an upgrade too without asking which shows good hospitality .

Food can be better ..Prices of food and the food need to be fixed .Being from the same industry a hotel would want to retain their guest to eat with them .That increases revenue and for that you have to match the market of good restaurants with good food.Rest everything was great .

Complimentary Breakfast wasn't there as listed. I had to ask multiple times to get the breakfast. There was no room service as such. But staff were really good. Only thing they lacked was negligence towards the guests.
