Cons -
- We booked this hotel with high expectations as it is supposed to be a 4-star hotel. This is a 2.5 star hotel at best. My initial impression was disappointing as the room was dirty - the tables in the room had stains on them. The rug in the room was terribly dirty and old. Why keep a rug that it is so old and rundown? The outside hallway rug was also extremely dirty. Staff were very slow - we waited for our luggage to be delivered to our room for over an hour and had to remind them multiple times. Service in the restaurant is very slow. Overall, very unimpressed as it is an expensive hotel with subpar service. This hotel does not deserve to be a 4-star hotel - first and foremost, it is very dirty. The location was convenient but we had issues getting in and out of Vrindavan in a van - the police kept stopping vans from other states and asked us to take a cab which was extremely difficult. Thankfully, the hotel manager helped, but it was a nuisance. I'd recommend booking a hotel that's a little out of Vrindavan so as to not deal with the traffic police who were extremely rude. The Government can do better if they want the tourism money. I'll not stay here again. Don't be tricked by the 4-star rating.

- Front desk staff refused to give the extra bed for the kids.Though our package included 2 adults and 2 kids and as per booking details stay for kids was free. That was totally unacceptable. As we were on tour for almost a month but other hotels and property never refuse to give extra bed.

Location was central and convenient. Rooms were not bad. Breakfast was okay. Staff could be more attentive.

Rooms. Rooms were good and food was nice.
Front office staff attitude. They lacked basic hospitality, especially Vandana.
The rooms were clean.
The service at the restaurant was very poor, very slow. We had to wait almost 50 mins before our food was served. After that also some order was missing which never came even after finishing our meal.
Comfortable stay. Friendly staff & clean room.
Drilling noise especially during afternoon. Was not able to rest. Had to leave the room and go outside.
I had booked with complimentary breakfast but on reaching the hotel I was told that my booking is excluding the complementary breakfast. Therfore, I had to pay extra for the breakfast. In addition to this, I had booked for two persons in each room but on the arrival of hotel I was told that my booking is for one person for every room. Therfore, I had to pay 2000 extra for 2 persons in two rooms.
The kitchen staff & the reception counter staff very humble & accomodating.
No hand towels were given to us for all 5 days. Once complained on 2nd day. They gave us a very old one. Maybe due to wedding season, too busy.Electricity fluctuations. Twice we were in the lift.
Hotel Review: Nidhivan Sarovar, VrindavanI recently had the pleasure of staying at Nidhivan Sarovar in Vrindavan, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The hotel is situated in an amazing location, offering a peaceful and serene and blissful atmosphere, The cleanliness of the hotel stood out — everything was very neat and well-maintained, creating a welcoming environment right from the moment I arrived. The customer service was excellent, with the staff going above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met. They were not only friendly but also incredibly helpful, ensuring I had everything I needed during our stay The breakfast was a highlight! It was delicious and offered a variety of options that were perfect to start the day on a high note. Overall, I highly recommend Nidhivan Sarovar for anyone visiting Vrindavan — the friendly staff, great amenities, and wonderful atmosphere truly made my stay memorable.
It was one of the best hotels we stayed at. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Autos are available right outside and we were fortunate enough to have attended a wedding that took place at the hotel. It was a beautiful stay as they have a terrace restaurant that had warm heaters.
Our stay at Nidhivan Sarovar Portico was truly exceptional! The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way, making our family trip to Vrindavan even more memorable. The rooms were extremely comfortable, offering a perfect retreat after a long day of exploring. The staff's hospitality was outstanding, and they went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay.We opted for room service and were delighted with the food. We ordered pasta, poha, and sandwiches, all prepared without onion and garlic, in keeping with Vrindavan's tradition. The food arrived surprisingly fast, and the taste was absolutely delicious. The hotel's ability to maintain such high-quality flavors while respecting local customs deserves special mention.Overall, this hotel perfectly blends comfort, tradition, and excellent service. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vrindavan for a peaceful and delightful stay. We look forward to returning in the future!5/5 stars!
Our stay at Nidhivan Sarovar Portico was delightful, with comfortable rooms, excellent service, and great food. However, I would like to share a small suggestion to enhance the guest experience further. The minibar facility was convenient, stocked with cookies and snacks, along with a rate list. Since our kids carried their own snacks, we didn’t use the minibar. However, during checkout, the receptionist informed me that their routine process involves cross-checking minibar usage. Surprisingly, they claimed that a peanut packet worth ₹35 was consumed, even though we were certain we hadn’t used it. While I decided to pay the amount to avoid any inconvenience for the staff, this highlighted an area for improvement. To avoid such situations, I suggest the hotel implement a system where guests sign or acknowledge the items stocked in the minibar upon check-in. This would ensure transparency and accountability for both the guest and the hotel.Overall, our stay was fantastic, but refining this aspect could make the guest experience even better.
Staff and ambience
Kids play area didn’t have much space
The hotel is a wonderful modestly priced hotel well located to the major pilgrim sites in Vrindavan. The staff is very knowledgeable about the pilgrim sites, they have a scholar visiting in the evening to guide the guests. The attached restaurant has good vegetarian food. Please note that Vrindavan is vegetarian. The facilities are clean and well maintained.
Location & staff behavior
Lack of pickup and drop facility from vehicle parking, which is outside the city due to no-entry declared by government.
No comment for breakfast.
Staff training.Transportation to various places costly
washrooms are in bad state furniture is very old extra bedding in bad state. working table in rooms are full of scratches. very poorly kept the property at this high price....
charging 7500 per room and no facilities or furniture to that extent.i am a regular visitor to vrindawan and i feel better options are now available in this price............
Rooms are well maintained and were neat and clean.
Buffet lunch quality was below par and with limited options.
