- The buffet breakfast was really good
- The food that we ate for dinner at the restaurant was extremely nice. Very very nice dinner. But after that not a great deal was favourable.
- Clean, nice and quiet.
Cons -
- The TV wasn't working properly, and the network kept dropping out. The website via the QR code (phone version) isn't very user-friendly - very hard to navigate.
- 1. On arrival last Sunday the young lady at reception was overwhelmed with the number of people checking in. Nothing against her, but again on the Monday morning just no personality from the same lady. No warmth what so ever, just staff that didn't really seem to like there job.2. When I booked I asked for a quiet area if possible. We were room 126. Right near the t intersection of a corridor. Not really what we were after. Then during the night there was a loud knocking noise that kept me awake for most of the evening. It was there again the following morning outside the window.3. The air conditioning. the Sunday was hot. We had our air conditioner on 18, cool, with a medium fan speed. The room throughout the night still felt like 25 degrees. No real cool air at all.4. The in house restaurant on the Sunday night.Arrived nice and early, barely a person in sight which was nice. Order bruschetta and a drink. Asked for non alcoholic ginger beer.Bruschetta came out first, then the ginger beer which was alcoholic. I asked for it to be swapped over which the lady said yes. Nothing happened. We then ordered our main course, and I asked for the drink to be replaced. Our mains arrived before my drink I ordered right at the start. No real apology from anyone, just blame others. No offer of a free drink or discount.Just all rather disappointing, no warmth or friendliness at all. So we left after 1 night. Not a question was asked as to why we left after one night either. Why were we checking out. Absolutely zero interest or care in the world. Then I emailed Peppers to provide them feedback and look for some sort of response, and we are one week later and still nothing.I will not be staying at Peppers Marysville again.
- The smell from the kitchen coming through the entire facility.

Clean, nice and quiet.
The smell from the kitchen coming through the entire facility.
Not many hotel options in Marysville if you’re visiting Lake Mountain. Great location, modern and clean, though some aspects could be improved.
We visit Marysville every year during winter, but the experience seems to be getting worse. On the second day, there was no hot water or heating as the entire building was malfunctioning. Reception said there wasn’t much they could do and gave us a business card, advising us to contact the hotel manager ourselves for a complaint or refund. A portable heater was provided in the room, but it didn’t effectively warm the space.
No hot water so we couldn’t have a shower in the morning. The chrome cast wouldn’t work to connect to watch the football. The blanket from the cupboard had some white goop on it.
Location close to shops, restaurants.
Very small rooms. When booking online I booked for two rooms it ended up with double beds one small room. Beds were king single not double. Bathroom very small no fan in there when using toilet.
location was excellent. number of things to do around if you like nature & walks
not many places to eat around.
Great location
I felt like I was a best western. This doesn’t compare to other peppers that I have stayed with. The room had cardboard walls. We could hear every word from the family staying next door with their kids waking us at all hours. Kids will be kids but really the hotel should consider where they place couples to families. No mini bar and being a small town everything closes early. The parking is quite far from the door so be sure to drop luggage at check in. The restaurant we felt was overpriced and lacking atmosphere
Very comfortable and clean accommodation. Loved the facilities. We have been using Peppers for a few years now.
Although the breakfast was good, unfortunately most of the food had run out before we got there at 8.00. This was disappointing as we paid extra and we' were looking forward to it. It seemed very disorganized with not enough staff.
Location
Our room had a used towel hanging on the bathroom door, and chocolate smeared on the tv remote. We were unaware that the hotel restaurant would be closed on Easter Monday.
The room was a good size. It was clean and nicely presented. The bed was comfortable. Clean linen etc.
The room could of had a bit more natural light. The original design rsetricts the natural light into some of the rooms. As it was a Sunday night, some of the services were unavailable, the cafe was close, the fireplace in the lobby wasn't operating.
Great hotel! Clean, attractive rooms, good breakfast and the restaurant is great. My kids used the pool and my husband used the sauna. The only issue was the WiFi, it occasionally dropped out and was very patchy.
Central location. Good facilities.Cost favourable breakfast.
There were many loud kids during the breakfasts. Whilst this is Not really hotel's responsibility but more lack of parenting manners, this has to be mentioned and an attempt to implement some changes to improve the experience.
The room was lovely would definitely stay again if i am going thru Marysville again. Also, the Bed was very comfortable.
Restaruant Prices were a little high but otherwise the Accomodation was Excellent.
Amazing place, very clean and fantastic staff
No room service, but an amazing restaurant

The location was ideal right in the centre of town. The room was comfortable and very clean.
We were forewarned the room would not be serviced, which was disappointing, so we brought our own cleaning products. However, there was no plug. No cutlery was provided at all, nor a saucer for the coffee cups. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the hotel is in a lovely setting, but found the lack of provisions baffling, given no room service was provided.
Everything was exceptional especially the staff. Location is amazing and fire pit at night was a great idea!!
Only thing that we didn’t like were the pillows!
Spent a night here for our weekend visit to Yarra Valley and it was very pleasant! The rooms and toilets were very clean, and the TV was working fine with all the local channels. The hotel was conveniently located near some restaurants, and bakeries which were great for dinners and breakfast. Hotel staff were also extremely friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay :)
Location and cleanliness
We put the milk Olin the forage and went out came back in the evening to find the fridge is off .some get rid of the milk inside .not happy also the exhaust fan in the Riley was not working . with no ventilation it was disgusting. When informed the person on reception when checking out they just blamed the housekeeping and mentioned that because of noise the kept the fridge off and didn’t apologise at allAs I mentioned about the rotten milk and broken exhaust .there was no apology on their face .I would never stay there and will spread the word around
