Bathrooms were too old n not clean

I liked the room (they upgraded us for free to the next tier)The restaurant (not breakfast buffet) was really good, consistently among the best food me or my friends ate in the cityIt's minutes away from the airport, and the old city isn't far awayWe ended up buying a lot from their in property handicrafts store, the sweet gentleman manning the sales counter contributing as much as their wares The pretty lighting at night Staff were generally very nice and helpful

My partner felt the room was a bit gloomy, maybe they could install brighter light options for those who don't prefer an all mood lighting vibe. Breakfast spread was ok - not wowI used the gym and the pool. But the shower area was in bad repair, and I had to shower in my room before and after. Gym could also use a refresh. Spa doesn't look like it's functional (not that I would use it anyway)All said, feel it's expensive for the facilities it offers. But maybe that's inflation in India for you - looking at you Nimmo Tai :(

The staff and the ambience

Starting to show age, need some maintenance

- the gardens are beautiful - the restaurant staff was very courteous and accommodating

- the rooms need a lot of repair: the beds and bedding were below standard and not comfortable - the furniture and appliances were too old needing urgent repair - not worth 10k a night

Beautiful courtyard. Feels very majestic.

We were upgraded to a suite which was super nice, but there the wifi in our room only worked when close to the courtyard.

It’s a place of a cousin brother but he maintains it very well and keep the standards. The staff is good and the shop they have have good and genuine stuff . Food is good

They can improve the infrastructure

Other than the location, everything else was bad.

The Staff clearly needs training. Everyone keeps walking around you but no one would attend to your needs. The breakfast is a jokeThere were rats running around in the reception area!

Good heritage property, well maintained. Spacious rooms. They even had special cultural program on Dusshera night which was nice.

Food was average, can be improved.They don’t have keep luggage policy which annoyed us a bit as our flight was late and we wanted to go out for lunch and pick up our bags later.

People, cleanliness, food

Reception efficiency. Housekeeping wasn’t done till evening (though the keys were given in the morning and the reception specifically mentioned it will be done right away). People at the reception are nice but their work efficiency should improve. Also, internet was dysfunctional in my wing. They offered to change the room after second follow up (it should have been communicated in the beginning).

Nothing to be honest.

My experience at this property was nothing short of a nightmare. There was no hot water available, forcing me to deal with technicians coming into our room as late as 11 PM and again at 6 AM, yet the problem was never fixed. I had to resort to getting hot water from outside just so my son could have a proper bath. I booked two rooms, but one of them was missing an extra bed that I had requested earlier in the day. I had to stand at the reception at midnight, begging for something that should have been taken care of hours earlier. The whole ordeal was exhausting and infuriating.The food was absurdly overpriced, with costs far exceeding those at a 5-star hotel. They had the audacity to charge ₹90 plus taxes for a single water bottle. The lunch we had was absolutely terrible—the taste was bland and unappealing. I am filled with regret for having chosen this place, especially after falling for the many misleading positive reviews online. The internet is clearly overrun with fake, paid reviews, and our stay at this property was a complete disaster. If you're even considering booking this place after reading this, let me warn you—this place is a trap. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away.

I felt 5k for one night wasn't justified. Breakfast was also sub standard. Otherwise staff was very courteous and helpful. But i wouldn't pay 5k again for a same property

The palace oozes Old school Indian Charm. The currys from the restaurant were delicious and the staff attentive and courteous.

It was off season so there were very few guests. That is not the hotels fault, it was just indicitave of the tourist numbers at that time of year.

Very God Rooms and Excellent service

Breakfast was not great.

Beautiful pool, on-site dining, delicious food, cultural entertainment each evening, on-site shops with local handicrafts, beautiful gardens and overall nice ambience. Rooms are well sized. Staff is responsive.

1. Restaurant staff while taking orders and serving was casual to the point it was uncomfortable. Last page of menu points out that hotel has mostly heritage staff, which speaks well for the hotel itself but hotel needs to invest in training enough. Unenjoyable dining experience. 2. Room - was run down. Lighting could be much better. The topmost bedcover were torn in an area.

No hot water for 2 days, dirty room, the whole place for the price was very expensive and not worth it. Everything needs a good clean. We left a day early because we just couldn't stay there.

We booked two premium heritage rooms and were highly disappointed in our stay.Condition of rooms: very dated and not maintained well. The showers (in both rooms) were running on and off and hot water was not available at some point. Our safe was only operational some times. Many plug points were not in working condition. Comforter in one of the rooms had large burn holes on the underside. Cleanliness: One of the rooms were not cleaned at check in (bathrooms and bedding were dirty/used). Luckily, the service staff promptly cleaned the room and changed bedding as soon as we requested it.Food: Perhaps the most disappointing aspect was the quality of food. We had breakfast included rates but chose not to eat there all days because it was that bad. Dinner buffet food was cold. Breakfast food tasteless. Noise: There was a wedding happening throughout our 3 night stay with loud music and wedding guests making noise till 1am. It made no sense why our rooms were in the same area as the wedding venue when there are other sections of the hotel they could have had non-wedding guests stay. Furthermore, management needs to be prudent about ensuring wedding events end at a reasonable time and wedding leave the property after the wedding event.

The location was okay

I regret to inform potential guests to steer clear of this hotel following what was undeniably one of my worst hotel experiences. The problems began immediately upon my 4 p.m. arrival, where I was greeted not with a ready room, but a series of frustrating relocations. Initially, my assigned room wasn't prepared, leading to a half-hour ordeal of being shuttled between various unsatisfactory rooms.The ordeal didn't end there. The hotel's atmosphere was excessively noisy, marred by ongoing events. A desire for early sleep at 10 p.m. was shattered by a boisterous party in the yard, complete with blaring music that made rest impossible.The internet didn’t work at my room. I had to go to lobby to use internet. Most critically, the room's amenities were subpar. The shower, a basic necessity, failed spectacularly. I encountered erratic hot water supply, frequently turning ice cold without warning. This defect made a simple shower an unwelcome adventure in temperature roulette.
