Locations was really inconvenient. Had to take an auto to get in and out of the hotel(haveli) which was an added expense.

Not suitable for eastern folks. Linen were stained and the room very cold. We also asked for a guide and they sent us a guy who asked 1000 rupees to essentially tell us to visit the fort with the audio guide and walking us along the blue houses (tuktuk on us)

It’s a beautiful heritage property located in old town of Jodhpur. The stay in 15 mins walk from the Clock tower which is the centre of the city with all the restaurants and shopping place. Most of the blue house lanes and painted walls are very near at a walking distance from the property. They have a beautiful terrace with the city & fort view. You can stargaze at night having your meal. The host Darshan is a very sweet human being who takes care of you nicely. The rooms are beautiful and have the feel of a heritage property.

The rooms are very good and also are comfortable. The staff is also helpful.

The location of haveli is not easily accessible.

It’s a beautiful ancient city and the property is in the heart of it. The streets are very narrow and we were dropped off and had to take a tuk tuk to reach it. The property itself is very old - I heard 400 years. The owner is wonderful and very accommodating. The property has only recently opened and the staff are very much new and learning, but very willing and friendly. The roof terrace is what really nails it for these properties with 360 views across to the Old Fort and around. Sitting late evening and early morning was an experience with the sights and sounds e.g watching the troupe of monkeys making their ways from rooftop to rooftop.

I won’t say there was anything we didn’t like as such. But I would say the property is a work in progress and much could be improved as they find their feet and become established. The city itself suffers from real trash/garbage challenges and the area around the hotel might be off putting for those not used to the realities of many cities in the Global South.

The location of the hotel is quite interior. So difficult to reach. But it’s very very near to the fort.

I had a room without windows on the ground floor. I guess that can be problematic for some.Food was fine, but nothing extraordinary. The dishes could have been spicier ; they were clearly adopted for European tourists.

This recently opened hotel/guesthouse gives a very good service to his guests. Owner and staff all very friendly and helpful. On the big terrace nice view over the blue city and the fort. Restaurant service also present at the terrace at very reasonable prices. So overall price/quality/ service : super TOP

Nothing to write , everything was well done

Our stay at Neel Mahal exceeded our expectations in every way. It is clear that a lot of time and effort has gone into transforming this 450-year-old building into a hotel, resulting in very clean and comfortable rooms and a rooftop with breathtaking 360-degree views of the blue city and fort.The level of service is like no other. The hotel owner, Kamal, kindly walked us around the neighbourhood at night, showing us the fort and the nearby reservoir. He also brought us homemade snacks that his mother had made, as well as some medicine. His colleague, also named Kamal, walked with us to the clock tower, even treating us to a samosa and lassi along the way. Darshan drove us to the pharmacy when we needed more medicine and spoke at length about Jodhpur’s wildlife. All of the staff here, too many to name, were incredibly hospitable and made our stay very enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble.We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the hotel during our stay and were very pleased with the food, which was both tasty and good value for money. The chefs were very flexible and offered to cook food that was not on the menu if we so wished.We have only good things to say about Neel Mahal hotel. In terms of value for money, it simply cannot be beaten. If you are apprehensive about the lack of reviews, it is because the hotel has only recently opened. We highly recommend it!

This is a beautiful heritage hotel in an old building, still process of restoration.

Neel Mahal is situated in one of the alleyways of the Blue City. Some may think it's a bit out, but we loved how we were a part of the community. From the authenticity of the heritage building to the friendliness of the staff, it had us heartsore when it was time to go. It was a home away from home, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to have the full, authentic feel of Jodhpur's Blue City.

The staff is super welcoming, warm and makes you feel at home. You need anything, just ask the staff and they'll get it to you in minutes

The rustic yet traditional vibe.

The location is a bit confusing.

A really great place to stay. Hospitality and service is top notch. A special bonfire was made only for us without any request.
