Ratan Vilas

Breakfast was very good - A mix of regional and International choices. Fresh and with good cutlery

A bit of extra salt in Omlette

Everything was well executed, from decor to seating. The food was exceptional and the staff courteous without being servile or insincere

Wonderful place. Lovely staff, great rooms, good food.

The hotel is a peaceful place where to rest after the buzz of the city and a long walking day.The swimming pool is the perfect place to enjoy the nice scenery of the garden and the smell of the flowers.

Great staff, historical property and great hospitality. Great recommendations by hotel staff about local eateries and shopping streets.

Beautiful property with fabulous hospitality. The restaurant food is great, the setting relaxing. All the staff was kind and went out of their way to make our stay memorable.

Incredible staff, rooms and building. The food was excellent too.

Location is a little out of the way, but wouldn’t deter me from not staying there again

Charming hotel, clean and professionally managed. Limited number of rooms, many quiet open air courtyards and a lovely small swimmi ng pool in the garden - perfetto to relax during very hot middle day hours. Restourant service both inside and open air in the garden, very pleasant for breakfast in the morning and romantic dinner in the evening.

Breakfast was ok - but limited choice if you look for a continental / sweet based breakfast - as we do.

We loved our stay at Ratan Villas. The property is so beautiful and we really enjoyed relaxing by the pool after a busy day exploring Jodhpur. It was very easy to get transport to all of the main attractions and the food at the hotel was high quality. The staff were so attentive and helpful with everything we needed. We’d definitely recommend this hotel!

Timeless decor, elegant building and amazing pool.

everything was perfect! staff was nice and helpfull, everything was clean and quiet, food is very good

Everything was exceptional. The beauty of the property. The amazing staff. The spaciousness of the room. All So peaceful and stylish

Heritage property. Excellent place to stay. Staff is exceptional along with other things. Well maintained swimming pool. Very centrally located place but you cant hear any road noise.

From the moment we arrived at this beautiful, family-run hotel in Jodhpur, we were completely captivated. Set in a lovingly restored historical mansion, the architecture is nothing short of stunning – a perfect blend of heritage charm and refined elegance. Every corner of the property tells a story, with exquisite furniture and thoughtfully curated interior design that create a warm yet luxurious atmosphere. The food was a true highlight – every meal was a feast of flavour, clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. The facilities are immaculate, especially the pool area, which is pristine, beautifully maintained, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the exceptional hospitality. The staff treated us like royalty – genuine, attentive, and always going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Harish, in particular, stood out as an incredible front-of-house team member. He shared the fascinating history of the mansion with such pride and passion, and his kindness, warmth and professionalism left a lasting impression on us.We’ve stayed at many hotels across India over the years – including several 5-star properties – and this was by far our favourite. It’s a rare gem that combines heart, heritage, and hospitality in the most wonderful way. We can’t wait to return!

It was exceptional, nothing requires improvement.

This is a converted family palace - just outside the centre of Jodhpur. We couldn’t have had a more relaxing and comfortable stay. It felt like we were personal guests of the owners. Amazing architecture, beautiful vegetarian and non-vegetarian Rajasthani food and a pool we had all to ourselves. Probably our most memorable stay in Rajasthan. Thank you

I had a wonderful stay recently at Ratan Villas, where I spent 2 nights and found every part of my stay to far exceed my expectations. Communication with the hotel was always prompt and professional. Prior to my arrival, they were great about setting up airport pickup and even a car/driver for my trip down to Udaipur. Upon arriving, I found the hotel to be a feast for the eyes, with lovely gardens, bougainvillea and patios and a beautifully maintained rambling palace painted in earth tones of reds and yellows. Completely authentic and atmospheric, two of the things I most love to find when travelling, and without crowds. The staff, every one I came across, were simply wonderful, charming, polite, with lots of smiles. The room was large, well apportioned and designed, comfortable bed and a great modern bathroom. The pool setting is lovely and very inviting on these hot days, or after hours of touring in town. Mealtime was a delight as well, with delicious cuisine served outside on the patio (you have the option of a lovely dining room) for breakfast and dinner. The breakfast buffet was spot on, from hot/cold options to Indian/western. Location: I think this is the true selling point. Jodhpur, meaning the city center (Sadar Bazar, Mehrengarh Fort, etc) is beautiful but it is chaotic with a capital C. I was beyond thrilled that after touring around I could retreat to this quiet, peaceful, oasis to re charge. It's my stay at Ratan Villas that left me with such wonderful memories of Jodhpur.
