Bells Estate Great Ocean Road Cottages

Lovely family-run accommodation. Cottages are cosy and warm with a lovely view of the bush and plenty of space. It was a great little vibe for a family getaway.

Just be mindful its on main road so not a place to stay if you want to walk everywhere.

Beautiful location with a homey feel that is close to all amenities. Kind and friendly hosts.

Note: due to the country environment you might experience more spiders than you might normally be used to!

Lovely tranquil location with a beautiful view of the surrounds and lots of wildlife.

5 minutes out of Torquay township, it was the perfect location to avoid all the hassle of holiday congestion. In a great bushland setting the units were very comfortable, resident Pony and Alpacas kept the kids entertained. Host Terry was excellent.

Great place for a 5 year old with trampoline and pool. Lots of trees and yard for a dog. Very comfortable and spacious

Although a longer drive to Spirit of Tasmania much better to be out in space.

pool was a great hit, so were seeing the alpacas each morning

stay was too short!

The beautiful nature and animals surrounding the property. The host was very friendly. Swimming pool & table tennis was a bonus.

The bathroom had no heating.

Great to be away from the business of city life but close to beaches and shops if wanting.

- Was able to do an early check in which worked well for us- Secure property with plenty of parking- Pet friendly, with decent space for kids to run around in- Friendly hosts

- At the time the internet was a bit patchy, but owners were having new infrastructure installed -- no-ones fault, we just used hotspot which worked fine for us

Room to move on a lovely land site with walks around a dam and lamas on sight. Terry was our host and delightful. Close to Bells Beach. Warm with heaters and great view from the terrace.

No coffee maker, and we like real coffee.

Lovely setting Studio was lovely, clean and comfortable and very quiet2 bedroom cottage was lovely and comfortable, very clean disappointed no toilet upstairs

Only 1 toilet and that was down stairs when sleeping upstairs our older friends found it a bit hard getting down stairs during the night. Was very nice other than that

Difficult to work out the directions to cottage from instructions on paper. Had to ring for assistance to which help came

Bells Estate Cottages is set in a beautiful, peaceful farm environment very close to Torquay, with stunning views of the property. But what truly made our stay special were Terry and Mel — they are incredibly kind and responsive. We asked to use the firewood, and even though I called them late in the evening, they organised it straight away. Such amazing people!The cottage itself was spotless, with comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, great air-conditioning/heating, and of course the cozy firewood.Most importantly for us (and definitely for our dog), the property was wonderfully dog-friendly. Our pup had access to a large secure backyard along with plenty of dog beds and thoughtful extras.We really enjoyed our two-night stay at Bells Estate Cottages and highly recommend it. We’ll definitely be back for our next holiday. Perfect location, super clean, dog-friendly, and hosted by such a lovely family. Thank you, Terry and Mel, for your wonderful hospitality!

Honestly, everything exceeded expectations — every little detail was perfect.

Accesible and tranquil place to stay.

There was no internet the whole time we were there.

One of the cutest little places we have stayed. Had everything we needed, the host Terry was so kind, and loved how the animals free roamed around the property! Will definitely be staying again!

The location was perfect. Nice country charm. The cottage has charm and wood fireplace

The toilet leaked will be repaired Monday and just one small tv in lounge . None in bedroom The password given for internet access was incorrect. So had to contact owners to rectify.The pool too cold to swim . Neighbours next door loud music after 11pm. Slipped off the front steps fell off into garden breaking my glasses and I have bruising from the fall. One bucket of firewood to last 2 nights. Can view the toilet from spa.

Location was an ideal distance from Torquay, as we were riding a 204 km Great Otways and Ocean road challenge,7 km was a good warm up. a lovely quiet location, in the bush.

I did not find a chopping board in the kitchen, everything else was great.

Such a tranquil spot. We love the alpacas roaming and watching roos in the evening. My teenage girls enjoyed the pool and trampoline very much! Thank you
