- When we arrived, I was told that my rate had increased by 1/2. After threatening to call booking.com, and finally calling, the front desk lady gave me the correct rate. Upon entering the room, there were no towels, and water on the extraordinarily small bathroom. In further inspection there was black mold all over the back of the sink and above the shower, and the sink leaked. Having to go complain at the front desk, I was promptly ignored by the staff because I don't speak Spanish, yet, I had everything typed and translated before arriving in the lobby. Fortunately, my girlfriend is Colombian and explained the situation. We were given a replacement room. The Wi-Fi was ABSOLUTELY abhorrent. My roaming signal was stronger and more consistent, even though each floor had its own router and signal. In the new room there was no fan, no toilet seat and the shower leaked onto the floor, but there WAS hot water and a strong shower head.
Cons -
- The hot water and strong shower head. The staff was fairly friendly, at least night, even more so. But..they stored my medicine that needed to be in a refrigerator.
