Second valley was a hidden gem

Everything was a bit old and outdated..Cabin had no toilet/ bathroom or hot water

- nice calm location, fishing jetty and small beach close by. NP and KI ferry pier 15 min away - the bed was surprisingly comfy, and the amenities were relatively clean and better equipped than we thought- very good value for money

- the room was a bit run down and filthy, mouse droppings under the bed, holes in the wall, centimetre-thick dirt layer on the Ac...- WiFi was practically unusable

The cabin was small but comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped. We arrived outside of reception hours and communication regarding the late check-in process was excellent. Nice location- short walk to the beach and not far from the Kangaroo Island ferry terminal.

No mirror in the bathroom and the drain was at times a bit smelly (at other times it was completely fine). The tap water in the cabin was not potable, but rainwater tanks with drinkable water were close by.

Convenience to Cape Jervis and reasonable pricing

Small and nice one cozy

Property had lost of dust on the floor not mopping, the window blinds are not perfectly fixed for privacy, the door was noisy, and screen door was ripped. Toilet was not attached but in the booking it was mentioned.Need improvement on child playground .

We went off season and our cabin got the valuable morning sun

Nice quiet and quaint caravan park. Good size cabin for one to two people. Loved that it has the pet friendly options. My girl (beagle) was able to make herself at home.

Was one loud guest on first night setting up camp for a few hours. Otherwise things were fine.

Lovely little spot and close to where I needed to be for a day trip. They have food options as well either to top up supplies or hot food which was handy. The fish and chips.. yum!The park facilities were great

Clean, comfortable and well maintained. A beautiful day on the jetty fishing. Will return.

The unit smelt- actually stunk throughout our stay. Actually, left one night early.

The smell of the unit.Unsafe/uneven paving slabs by front door.

Location to Jetty and beach is walking distance, cafe is good for food. Community cooking area and cleaning facilities.

Having to clean so many squid

The park was sheltered from the beach which was experiencing high winds at the time. We knew we would be arriving after reception closed and park management was obliging with a facility for us to pick up the key.

The cabin was small and had no toilet or shower and poor lighting. We had to walk to the shower and toilet which were very low quality and poorly cleaned. The soap dispenser in the toilet block was empty. The cabin kitchen was also poorly cleaned with the microwave and benchtop being dirty. There was no hot water to the cabin. The step into the cabin was two concrete bricks placed on top of a small concrete slab. The step into the cabin was high and the concrete bricks were not secured. Accessing the cabin felt unsafe.

Near to port for ferry

Misadvertised as being a 1 br 1 bathroom. It was a shared bathroom and no lights at night. Banging on trailer at night (wind?) Horrible bed.

There was nothing to like

Lack of facilities, floor hadn't been swept, common areas dirty, not maintained, lack of security, overpriced, etc
