So close to town and wineries, nice wine tasting and bike hire
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location for getting to cellar doors and the bike trails. Rooms were comfortable. Free wine tasting was great. We had a great time.

Location, staff and facilities
$270 is pretty expensive without getting any real perks for the estate
The grounds were impressive and the rooms were right next to a walking track that took you through the vineyards. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space and a well-equipped kitchenette.
Only thing to improve would be matching breakfast bowls. Didn't get the opportunity to use the vouchers that came with the room for the free wine tasting at the adjacent winery!
Beautiful location
The rooms are spacious and clean but quite dated
Clean, comfy room with verandah access and nice view over pool area.
Restaurant wasn't open, but that's usual for the area at this time of the year.
Good location for access to McLaren vale town. Facilities were clean and comfortable.
Accommodation was basic and dated.
SPACIOUS ROOM, COMFY BED
DIDN'T LIKE SHOWER OVER BATH
Room was extremely big, great facilities and parking in front of the unit. Cellar door on the premises too so a great place to start / end any wine tour if staying here. Located near to the town (15min walk) so can pick up any items you may need and experience other restaurants. Staff were very friendly and kind. Very enjoyable.
Only one minor downside is that I was swooped by one rogue magpie. But cannot account for nature.
Staff were brilliant. Peaceful location. Bonus having the restaurant on site.
A really nice location, beautiful grounds
Rooms are a little dated but in no way did that diminish the overall experience
Location good comfortable room
Fancy providing International Roast coffee. No respecting establishment should accept that for coffee
Location, size of room, spa bath
Dated decor, total lack of breakfast options
Room, Location, Wine Tasting.
Absence of Restaurant
Beautiful property with well kept gardens and a lake that attracted a great variety of birds. Room was spacious with comfortable beds.
At arrival we were promised a free tasting at their cellar door, noting 3.30pm cut off to start and 4:30pm finishing time. We settled into our room and came back just before 3:30pm. However, we were denied the tasting because, allegedly, it was too late. We were given a glass of wine for our troubles, but it was not the same as a full tasting. Not the end of the world, but a little disappointing. Better communication between the cellar door and front desk would help with the experience.
Lovely grounds
Rooms are datedAs the restaurant was closed, it required us to walk into town both night of our stay.
Good facilities and a great shower and spa bath. Small kitchen but fridge was ok.
Notice of mosquitoes carrying Encephalitis on a path next to the property. The notice should have been at the accommodation as you entered the Shiraz trail not after you were leaving the property. Would also have helped for the hotel to tell you as it was the path to the town.
Spacious, clean, comfortable, easy to access after hours.
