Discovery Parks - Hahndorf

Great location, bikeable/walkable to town, very airy and lots of bunnies around the base of our unit. Delivery from a great local Italian restaurant included. Out-of-service communal grill was promptly fixed by staff.

Our unit (with "Lake view", in the 50s) did not have reliable internet, super weak signal that kept logging us out. Management seemed to know about the problem but wasn't at all concerned, our solution was to go to the common areas (kitchen, patio, grill area) and use internet there, which worked great. Pretty sure units in that vicinity would work more reliably, if we were staying more than 2 nights we would have asked to be moved. Also note that the reservation process worked but was ... weird, we booked through booking.com, got their confirmation, but immediately were notified we had to fill information online on a different site before arrival. In the end they were a-OK leaving us keys in the after-hours dropbox but the robo-messages we got indicated otherwise, upon arrival we were not 100% sure we'd have a room to stay in.

Room was cleaned and tidied.Body wash, body lotion, shampoo and conditions were provided.

No plates, bowls, forks and spoons.No microwave.Chairs were not enough and kids had to sit on their bed! ?No night light, kids could not seen after all room lights were off!???For the beds in the room, a bunk bed and a double bed would be better for families. Especially, they have a boy and girl.?

The room was spotless and seemed very new - two lovely comfy queen beds - luxury! The bathroom was spacious and well equipped. Tea making facilities - and milk in the fridge !!

Nothing except at check in they forgot to give me wifi code for my room and when I went back to get it the office had shut for the day so remember to ask for this. Probably just need a sign in the room advising what the code is. Otherwise PERFECT stay and would return and highly recommend

Everything else except the bed and TV.

Bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the road outside. TV did not work so after a few hours we left. At 106kgs I could not put a dent in the mattress . I Ieft a summary of the issues we were confronted with at the office at 6.30am but have had no response from the holiday Park at all. Thought they may have contacted us. Don't understand that someone hasn't laid on that bed before and complained.

The park was beautiful and clean, great location close to the main street of Hahndorf. The room was lovely and clean, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone travelling, especially with children. The facilities were wonderful.

It fabulous. Great surrounds, gorgeous lakes and activities for the kids. We had a wonderful time.

Good communication. Easy check in. Room was very clean and quiet. Showers were hot and strong.

Edges of some carpet tiles lifting that could be a trip hazard. Beds were a little too firm for us

Clean room, comfy bed and coffee/tea facilities good. Also, was nice sitting out on verandah, beautiful view over dam at sunset.

Everything was excellent. Good room, everything you need. Great price. Location is 10 mins walk from Hahndorf.

Fridge too small, it froze everything, no drying area next to sink. Needed a light above counter area

Great location and variety of accommodation types. The pizza and beer vendors on 12 April was a great idea however not well patronised, which was a shame as their products were very good.

Not really a big issue that I thought there would have been a room service after our first night. As there was only the 2 of us there was bathroom towels for 4. It may be that daily service was not included.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. Parking beside the cabin. Short drive to Sealink ferry next mornimg.

Great place to stay. Kids were entertained with the amenities and room was clean and updated.

The summit rooms are excellent value. Clean comfortable warm Position of the park was excellent for visiting Hahndorf village The staff very friendly and obliging

The only issue I had was there were ants in my room climbing up the wall from the fridge area. Not sure what they were attacked to.
