The location was great!Beautiful smelling body wash & shampoo!

Hoped the pool was heated but no it isn't !Pavers around pool were quite sharp( rustic type pavers)Opened the door of room to find the floor was filthy with sand?Hand towel had rips and holes in it.Ok for a 1 night stay but needs maintenance.Sugar was hard in the packet.

The location was perfect. We were able to park the car and walk everywhere. The room was clean and very comfortable.

Bed was old, vey uncomfortable, could feel springs in the mattress. No mattress protector on. Last occupant’s underwear on the floor. Mould in the shower and under the toilet lid was dirty. Rooms need a lot of work.

We washed the dishes we had used. Not sure we would have been charged if we did’t. We washed them in the bathroom!!

Great location right in the centre of town, easy walking distance to everything. So glad it has parking as parking in town is limited.

Did not see anyone at reception the entire time I stayed. Had to call after hours number multiple times to get hot water fixed, very poor communication by management.

Checked in to a friendly face and professionalism in customer service at check-in. Great location. Ideal for a one night day in Hahndorf.

Both rooms that we had booked had no hot water. I reached out via Booking.com to advise we had none on the evening of our stay and the following morning, with no response. I have asked the property to contact me regarding the lack of hot water and have had no response. After 5 days, I messaged again, asking them to contact me and have given another full 24 hours and still have had no response. I find it disappointing that customer service exists at check-in only. If it were summer, no hot water would be OK. But in the middle of winter, on a rainy day, wet day, it's needed. I don't like to leave poor reviews however, in this instance, the lack of follow-up or an explanation, I feel it's fair.

David (the owner) was very accommodating. I had to print some medical consent paperwork for my daughter who was in ACT, and he acted on it without hesitation. The cleaner tidies up our room and replaces all our towels on a daily basis. In the middle of our stay, I requested for a sheet change, and that was done. Two thumbs up, I definitely recommend.

I’m pretty happy with the room’s set up. David has mentioned to me about some improvements, not in detail, are in progress. So if I may suggest, probably some cupboards can be added on the pantry wall to make space for the utensils and microwave oven. This way, a kitchen sink can be added.

Location was good. Receptionist was kind. Parking and kitchenette was convenient.

Check-in process was unclear - the reception was not onsite. Keys weren't readily available - we had to go back to reception to request them. Rooms had no towels - we had to go back to reception again (in person) as the phones in the rooms didn't work. WiFi also wasn't working and beds were extremely hard.

Room 5.mould in bathroom. Exhaust fan dirty.cobwebs hanging from ceiling.fridge rusty on outside on the door.wood rotting on the floor by microwave. Door handle surround by microwave sticky stuff around it.toilet hissing all night.rusty shower rack hanger.

The location and the space in the unit although the bathroom needs an update.

Old tiling in the bathroom needs to be changed and the spa under the shower needs to be removed.A coffee table and an extra chair in is needed in a 2 person room.The property is difficult to find as the reception is 50 metres up the road and signage is poor in a very busy and narrow street.

Parking was a little tight. Room was a bit dated. No soap provided to wash hands.

The single bed linen in room 8 was crumpled and dirtyWe moved to room 9 there were dead bugs on window sills, curtains hanging down, ants got in to food in kitchenette bench and hot water tap in basin did not work. There was also mould in shower

3rd time we have stayed here, perfect location, value for money and comfortable

No shampoo, and mini bar listed price for bottled water but there was no bottles in the room
