Martinborough Motel

Staff were very accommodating and polite, had very good suggestions about the area and where to go for good dining, room was very adequate and reasonably well priced. Would stay at this motel again no problem..

Everything was clean and tidy. Hosts very helpful. Location just a short walk to the centre of town if you wanted anything. Full cooking facilities if you wanted to eat in, and good size fridge. Comfortable bed. Good value.

Rooms are looking a bit tired now. No Wi-Fi, which you may want if you are going to use the smart TV. No extractor fan in bathroom or over oven.

Colm the owner was very friendly and we had a lovely chat. We were upgraded to a larger room at no extra cost. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, with 2 beds and a kitchen. There was parking directly outside the unit we stayed in.

The unit needs a makeover. Very disappointed to see how grubby the carpet was and how old the bedspreads are. It would not take much to spruce these units up.

Colin and Gail were so helpful and accommodating. The accommodation is a good size with basic necessities and very central. Though it didn't have WiFi, the library was nearby and opened at 9.

2 minute walk to main square. Very clean and comfortable. Friendly hosts.

Kitchenette is very dated but it worked fine. Bbq out of order for our stay. Waiting for a part.

There was no smoke alarm in the unit, no milk even though there were coffee/tea making facilities, the carpet was dirty

It is a very old complex with basic facilities. As long as you are aware of that it’s fine. Good for an overnighter.

Funky and old fashioned. Had asked for extra large double bed but didn’t happen. Charming host. Spotlessly clean. Short walk to restaurants etc. .

Small bed. No wifi but our fault for not niticing on booking.
