It was beautiful, clean and luxurious, with friendly staff, a lovely location, easy, fee parking and a great kitchen.

The suite we had was private, comfortable and relaxing. It is right in he heart of the town - perfect for exploring and the very diverse and interesting shops. In addition to tea and coffee making facilities it had cereal plates, cutlery etc.

If was up a narrow staircase - not sure if there was any heating. We

Everything about my stay was perfect. Upgraded to a beautiful roomy and luxurious suite, the Governers Suite, super big and comfortable bed, a lovely deep bath as well as a huge walk in shower, 2 big comfortable armchairs, lounge decorated with beautiful antiques that give this gorgeous uite a real old world charm and ambience blended with smart up to date amenities. Excellent meal and cocktail downstairs at the gastro pub bar out on the terrace under the umbrellas, many other options for where to be seated. The balcony at the front of the hotel, part of this suite is perfect. Staff are really amazing, very helpful, friendly and welcoming, they are this hotel's treasures.

    Everything was perfect.

We were lucky enough to stay in the Governor's room, the spacious suite with decor from the Governor Grey era but modern shower and bathroom. Large balcony overlooking the main street. Good value continental breakfast delivered to the room. Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Dinner provided inspiring sharing plates.

Better signage from the hotel car park into the hotel.

I was offered a room upgrade to a top room immediately on arrival

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable

Location of room right beside the garden bar but luckily it was raining so patrons were inside.

Beautiful large comfortable room with balcony. Fantastic location. We stay often and love it each time. Can’t fault.

    10ShanePosted on: 11-16-2025

Beautiful room, located on Greytown Main Street. We were upgraded to the Pinot Noir room which made the stay that much more memorable.

Great location & facilities. Made my business trip easy.

No desk in the room. I had to work from a very low coffee table and it was uncomfortable.

I love this hotel since 2004 when I first visited. Greytown is such a beautiful town. I smile by just arriving to it. This room was at the back, a building I had never stayed in. It was large and comfortable with double aspect leafy windows and a balcony. I loved the cookie and coffee/tea facilities. I arrived before midnight after a long 9-hour drive through countryside with no shops. This felt like heaven!

The studio that was adjacent to mine was occupied and the walls were very thin so I could hear everything. This felt a little unpleasant and disconcerting.

Beautiful historic building with parking behind. Easy stroll to shops cafes restaurants. Had a relaxed meal at Gastro pub on-site. Delicious! The garden room was comfortable with a lovely small deck. The shower was the best!Would highly recommend

    Nothing !

The staff were lovely from the moment we arrived. We had a lovely dinner with friends in the restaurant and the room was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for a better location.

The only down side was there was a bit of heavy traffic noise and took a bit of getting used to on the first night but the second night I slept very well.

A lovely place to stay, wished we had stayed another night. Lovely staff, comfortable bed. Beautiful rooms.

    This property could be 10...

    1. Access to rooms is uncovered and through a bar back door.2. Staff are focused on the restaurant, leaving checkin reception to chance. You may get served or you may not.

Suite/room at the back really very good - quiet and comfortable. Must be noisy on the house front (busy road) but at back it was great.Great service.

    10AndyPosted on: 9-30-2025

Room upgrade was great , staff were very friendly and helpful and the bar and restaurant on site was so convenient serving a good selection of food and drinks of good quality.
