This little hotel was so special. The owner and the staff were amazing! Location was perfect and right on the water. It really felt like home for the 2 days we were there. Free internet, Free Parking,Close to town. We look forward to coming back again.
I loved the location of this hotel. The weather was not good but we could watch the ocean and the birds. There were many activities offered by this hotel. I would definitely return.

The room we were in was only a few feet from the sea wall so it was very relaxing sitting there in the evening just watching the views.

What a magical spot. I wished I had booked 2 nights instead of one. Elise was so generous with her time and helpful so I could arrange a massage. The setting and facilities were just remarkable. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Akaroa.

When requesting for extra tissue box, the Staff said ok but never came back with one. Had to go to the reception and waited for 10 minutes before someone came.When checking out, didn't realize the return key box - not visible. Staff is always not in the reception office.No heater in the bathroomOne of the heater not working in the room
The location was very good, right on the water and close to shops an resturants etc.
The motels were a bit dated (although priced accordingly).The one area I would suggest improved was the bathroom. Shower was a bit average (better pressure and new shower head). Also there was no steam extractor or bathroom heater.
Wonderful and quaint right on the water! Beds were excellent and linens were very high quality! Dishes were well stocked. Communication with staff was personable and engaging.

Fantastic location, right next to the ocean. Great to have some tables there were we could have some snacks & relax outside. Rooms are older but everything was clean & worked fine.
Easy stroll to town, clean, spacious and sunny. Comfortable bed, good facilities
