La Rochelle Motel

The owners were very good hosts! The room was somewhat small but the walkout to the small creek in back made up for it.Good for a coffee in the morning.

Parking was tight.

Nic was so friendly & helpful with local suggestions. I loved eating breakfast on the small balcony with the running stream & birds in the background.

Fully stocked apartment. Clean. Spacious. Attention to detail. Staff always available for questions, suggestions & just a friendly chat. Perfect location, away from crowds & direct access to trails. I loved this entire experience & will return for a longer stay.

Motel is located at the beginning of the town but only a short walk to the shops and bars etc.The room was very comfortable and clean.

Very welcoming and friendly. We were well looked after. Clean rooms and a quiet area. Good dark curtains for an afternoon nap.

Parking was tight but doable

Very clean and spacious room, friendly service on check in and when I had queries. The sound of the river trickling by was lovely when we had the balcony door opened.

A seperate recycling bin in the room would have been great?

Beautiful patio and very nice room. I have stayed here several times and It's my favorite stay in Akaroa.

The apartment was welcomingly warm on a cold day and had all the amenities needed to ensure we had an enjoyable stay.We particularly appreciated the narrow strip of mature NZ bush either side of a stream immediately in front of our balcony adding to the calming ambience.We'll be back!

I loved this room the moment I stepped inside. The decor is fresh and attractive. There's a private garden and a pleasant little stream outside. Spacious studio room with a well equipped kitchen.

Outlook was peaceful with stream running nearby.The pillows were the best yet.

Heating system had no explanation.

Very clean and tidy, our tv wasn't working on our arrival, but was being fixed as we arrived, the lovely owner lent us dvds and a board game as it was raining. Was great for a family,I would stay there again.

Our noisy rubbish bin ?.

Location was perfect. It had everything we needed. Bianca was lovely. Loved the balcony - when it wasn't raining my son and I would sit and listen to the Tui's and fantails. Kitchenette had everything you needed.

Nothing major. The fan in the bathroom didn't work.

Good location to walk to main centre and restaurants and supermarket. Staff absolutely lovely!!!

Little tired and old.

Nice spacious room with a little outdoor area. It’s well situated within easy walking distance of the town. The receptionist was friendly and helpful on our arrival.
