Akaroa Village Inn

This place is a beautiful little hidden gem, and if you have the chance, and are in Akaroa, I would emphatically recommend that you stay. I got the Room with the Jacuzzi and it was just huge and beautiful Room with a patio right next to all the shops...

Nothing bad, perfect in every way, literally...

The room was excellent, great view, great location.

Bit of noise from the bar/restaurant underneath the room. Not too bad as the place was not very busy.

Room was very comfortable. Restaurants were fairly close open good hours. Very nice harbour view from lounge and balcony. Comfortable lounge chairs. Good documentation on how to use appliances and cooking appliances

Typical tourist destination with above average pricing. Room needed instructions on how TV remotes worked.

We enjoyed our stay at the Wharf Seaview Apartment. Lovely views and great little balcony to enjoy the sunshine and to relax after a day of exploring beautiful Akaroa.

Communication. I did message and asked question didnt have any answer 2 days later I called them for my question they said we will come back to you. They never did ?

The location was fantastic and central to activities and the town. The view from the balcony was of the water and it was a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by.

I had a problem connecting to the wifi, The hosts were very helpful trying to get this fixed but it ddn't work well.

The location was good in the centre of the village. Spacious living room and friendly staff.

The proximity to the street was a little obtrusive, perhaps shadow curtains would help.

Very happy with our apartment, immaculately clean and tidy, beautiful Ocean view, walking distance to restaurants and bars.Loved our stay here we will be back!

The place is immaculately clean and tidy. Amazing view of the sea is another plus factor. Staff is amazingly accommodating.

Great location and view.

Just a basic room, quite old and shower head doesn't stay upright. Small double bed but it was comfortable. No milk in fridge and heater not on when we arrived so room was very cold. Dirty wine glass on kitchen shelf. The staff we dealt with were very nice but I suspect they were a bit extended so not had time to attend to details.

Good location.Plenty of room in Motel.Comfortable beds.It was all that we needed for our stay.We would definitely stay again.

Shower rose and slide poorly located in showing cabinet.Shower water pressure and temperature not so good.

Location though smells & noise from downstairs was somewhat annoying.

The water pressure in the shower is terrible. The door did not stop the water from wetting the floor.

Great location opposite wharf & the harbour.Nice clean & tidy with adequate facilities

Was meant to be a room with a sea view, but it was actually a side view of the sea.Not enough wall sockets in kitchen for cooking purposes as well as only 1 wall socket next to 1 side of the bed as well as left wall lamp not working.Not much choice of TV channels & heat pump never worked too well. I emailed/rang the motel early in the week queries regarding the kitchen/facilities but got no reply ??? Not much pressure in the shower

Great spot right on the water and a perfect day. Handy to shops and restaurants and very comfy beds.

View fom balcony over harbour was excellent, lovely roomy unit.

Would have liked to be supplied with face cloths, larger milk bottle and a bread board would have been useful and drinking chocolate would have been nice. thanks

We felt the unit was a bit damp and took a long time to warm up .Bed was uncomfortable with roll together issues Lovely chat with the lady in morning in office though :) Having room warmed up before arrival would have been been a nice touch ..

The pool was closed which wasn't good as doesn't say that on website There were ants in the roomWant be returning to this motel again
