Great location and very comfortable accomodation , clean and tidy.Nice comfy beds and good heating

Kitchen under bench bin wasn’t emptied and was full to the top, we emptied it into the big bin outside.Should have Sky TV for this money.

Funky building to stay

The kitchen could do with some tea towels and also more cooking utensils - it’s such a good kitchen but lacking these items meant it wasn’t as good as it should be. Also flannels would be great addition

DO NOT BOOK THIS. The hosts were awful. I tried cancelling or deferring 3 weeks out for medical reasons and they were heartless. I then turned up and couldn’t get in. I tried ring there land line and cellphone numbers they never answered. Terrible service. I ended up driving an 1.5 hours back to christchurch to stay elsewhere on Xmas day. They won’t refund the money either. DO NOT BOOK THIS.

fantastic location, just steps from the harbor. Well appointed apartment with very comfortable beds and sitting area. A great outdoor space, and easy to access with off street parking.

Well located and close to activities and restaurants. Accommodation was well fitted out and we would be happy to return

No hearing was on and for mid winter it was freezing. The electric blanket did not work on one side The milk - after noticing it soured in our coffee we checked the date - over 1 year old!!!!!!!The TV is much too high and difficult to seeNo bathroom heater

Historical Building was something special.The location was excellent so no need to use the car to get around.Would definitely recommend if you would like something a bit different. Beds were so comfortable.

Amazing location, waterfront so close by. Loved the decor and separate basins in each bedroom. Really chilled place, if we weren't travelling around would have stayed the whole two weeks. More to the point. we left some cash behind in the wardrobe, Amy found it and sorted an immediate transfer to our account. Doesn't get much better than that.

maybe a wardrobe or similar for other bedroom for clothes, and a bit exposed to the laneways if curtains weren't closed, but to be honest this was a fairly small issue.

Didn’t have adequate cooking implements for example, no colander, grater or wooden spoon, makes cooking pasta difficult!

Lovely historic building, sympathetically restored. Great location, off-street parking, comfortable bed.

A place to store toiletries near the handbasins would be helpful.

The shipping office had a lot of charm and was centrally located. It was a bit funky, but in a good way. Lots of space to spread out and organize while on our road trip.

It was quite cold and took a while to warm up. We really wished that the fireplace was in working order (gas would work) for more immediate heat. You do feel a bit exposed, but once the curtains were closed it was better.

Great character and tons of charm.

Really cold on arrival, and it took all evening to warm up.Only one bed was made up with an electric blanket, we had to dig the other blanket out of the storage cupboard to dress the 2nd bed ourselves. No place for storing clothes in the second bedroom, not even a hook on the back of a door a hang an item.

central , private parking, easy to access with door code. so close to everything bars and cafes and the water front.
