Having the restaurant and bar in the hotel was great food and service was lovely and the free breakfast was great.

Easy to find, along main road close to restaurants. Nice-looking hotel. Loved this small town where the night was quiet and serene, and we woke up to the sound of birds (like many places we stayed at in NZ outside the big city of Auckland).Also loved the clean, tidy and spacious room, that provided the things we needed for our 1-night stay.Most of all, I loved the value!

Not much. It’s a good thing we made it there just before 10 pm, otherwise it would likely be difficult getting in when the front doors are locked.

Bathroom fan didn’t work. Served expired yogurt at breakfast (noticed after we’d eaten it)

Great value accommodation with friendly staff and breakfast included. We felt very comfortable staying here.

The room wasn't very soundproof, and there was a jovial group next door talking until fairly late, and kids in the hallway in the morning.

Beautiful and clean, wonderful friendly staff, great restaurant on site and a Continental breakfast was included in our stay. Great value, highly recommend!

Property is slightly tired. There was some mould around the bath and windows.

Our room smelt like urine and very thin walls we could hear the next room slam their toilet seat stomping all morning long.

Room amazing good value for money. Bed very very comfortable water outside door.close to hotpools shops etc...parking had a bath ? quiet. Food delicious and ate in room .

Noise from guests in room above had tv on til 2am + fridge was wonky doors noisy banged shut. Curtain didn't cover window needed to be wider. No mini bar I would like to be recommended the quieter rooms available when I book .Need to change advertising as showed swimming pool which you no longer have

The price,location and the staff

The TV didn't work, the bed was on wheels and moved around when we slept and there wasn't a place to hang out towels after use\ they did not get replaced.

Very comfortable stay. Great friendly service. Good value for money. Rooms were spacious comfortable and warm. We would definitely stay again.

Staff were amazing and made us feel super welcome. Went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. Room was nice and bed was comfy.

Tv was small and older so had trouble with watching movies. Wifi was hit and miss. Apart from that great place!

The location, the outside of the hotel looks very inviting, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the restaurant had good service, lovely meals and was well priced.

The rundown facilities, bath tub out of order, the 'welcome/information' booklet in the hotel was very out date, activities/facilities mentioned were no longer available.

A bit dated. But it is an advantage, too.

Amazing value for money. For the price we paid to have breakfast included and be able to charge our EV was the cherry on the top. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and functional.

Breakfast was an added bonus that we didn't realize was included in the price, great value for money! Great to have a bar & restaurant on site and only a short walk to town center
