Northwood Motor Lodge

Amazing location, close to the airport and city amenities. The property’s gardens are beautiful and peaceful. The area was quiet, and it would be a great spot to base out of for Christchurch.

That I wasn’t there longer!

Friendly happy lady at reception and walked me to our unit.

Peter and Tessa were the most helpful and friendly hosts you could ever hope to meet.

A taxi ride to the City centre was very expensive.

The shuttle service from the airport to the motel and then to my rental car was a huge bonus. The room was spacious, bright, and very clean. I only stayed a night, but it would be perfect for a week stay.

Lovely, very clean and fresh accommodation and very accommodating and helpful hosts, highly recommend.

The staff was very cooperative and helpful. Nicely decorated. Ample space. Worth staying.

All round probably the best motel I've ever stayed at - on every level. Pete and Tess are amazing hosts and the room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful, with well maintained lawns and flowers everywhere. Top motel!!

Super friendly team on arrival. Great location close to the airport for a 6 am flight. Lovely large rooms with great comfy beds. Close to restaurants for a quick dinner.

Nothing. Everything was perfect for our stay

Owner was lovely and friendly, accomodation was clean, comfortable and perfect for our needs.

Us country folk not too used to early morning city noises - or traffic queues at 7:15am!!

Good location for our events in Chch Very quiet once inside unit - Great laundry service from the staff

The big trees where vehicles parked was absolutely bomb barded by bird poo and sticky stuff off leaves

Great staff, very helpful. Unit clean & roomy.

Was a bit of road noise during the night. Didn't like having an accessible unit.

Roomy living area. Very clean and nice grounds.

Bit of traffic noise. Shower had very little pressure and was hit and miss temperature wise.

Proximity to city centre Nice bright interior Plenty of utensils that other motels don’t supply Dog friendly was a big plus for us.

This place is super cute, clean, well maintained, great room size, nice bed, many channels, good internet, nice view onto beautiful lawn, had all the amenities, staff were friendly and showed me to my room.

Great distance from airport but not much else nearby, bit of a trek to supermarket.

Beautifully presented property- it's obvious the owners have pride in their business. Very friendly and helpful owners. Free laundry facilities was an added bonus!

A really nice place to stay for either just one or several nights. Clean, tidy, well equipped kitchen, comfy, spacious and nicely decorated. Has a real homely feel to it and the staff were very pleasant.

The owner is very welcoming and friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. Nice and quiet!

We enjoyed our stay here. The location was relaxing as it’s not in the main city, and the CBD isn’t too far. Friendly staff too..

In the suburb area , so peaceful and quiet.Tessa and Peter were so helpful , kind . Beautiful garden within the area . Free laundry as well . Rooms are all so clean and everything you need . Feel like home to home .Can’t fault a single thing.

Clean room, lovely view of garden, friendly staff and handy for Christchurch Airport.
