Great location, friendly staff, big rooms

I particularly liked the peace and quiet due to the motel being situated back off the road a little and the atmosphere of the garden. The room was spacious and bed comfortable. A family run motel, my welcome was warm and friendly.

Lovely, well equipped suite set in a beautiful quiet garden. Good value for money. Next door to the excellent Mussel Boys restaurant. Great location when moving on from Picton to Nelson. Friendly, helpful owner.

Everything was great

Clean, quiet, well equipped, friendly helpful person checking us in.

Only small thing, rubber mat for bath or handle to get in and out of shower over bath, but really place is excellent. No complaints.

Clean and quiet ? fabulous location! host was a fountain of local knowledge. Amazing hiking right out the back of the property. Everything you need, close to shops as well very convenient

A fabulous setting in a garden with huge shady trees and very quiet being back from the road but right in the centre of town

Very friendly and hospitable owners. Pet friendly and great for our dog. Beautiful garden setting. Motel is next to Mussel Pot restaurant which is great for a meal.

There was an unpleasant odour when we first arrived, probably due to humidity.

Absolutely fabulous motel. Friendly owners, clean, premo shower. Off the road, but in town, diagonal to a pub with yummy meals. Love the pond, ducks.....Very close to Blenheim and Picton. An hour from Nelson. Would stay again if down there again.

The place was so tranquil, surrounded by forest. It was hard to believe we were on the main road of this quaint wee town. It was a clean and comfortable motel with nicely refurbished rooms and great service- fresh towels and so forth, daily. The host was lovely and we felt very welcome. Everything you need is within walking distance. We would recommend dinner at the Mussel Pot next door (but make a booking). We also did the 'mailboat cruise', delivering supplies on the weekly 'mail' run to all the jetties that had placed orders in Pelorous Sounds with entertaining commentary on route-We thoroughly enjoyed this too.

Good location, well designed units, good parking

Property was well maintained with a lovely pond and next to the Warterfall track. Bathroom was spacious and the room makeover turned out well.
