    Pros +

    • Staff was friendly and nice, food had a good value, although the continental breakfast maybe missed something, was only toast with jam. But the rest of the food was good, really liked the chicken breast and goat stew. Swimming pool had a good sea view. Location was lovely of you like a quiet hidden gem!
    • The view in the morning was good , and cheap for 1 night stay , very good breakfast too
    • It's a camp site. Very good to stay for a hike to nearby Playa de Güigüí.The beach is meh, the location is besides abandoned farms. We enjoyed staying offline as there is no mobile reception and WiFi works only in the cabins, not at the shared area. Very good to stay offline and read a book. One of the receptionist/waiters was very friendly, active and helpful, while the two times the other staff was a bit lost in things. Food was delicious.

    Cons -

    • The website was a bit misleading..There were no surfboards.. 1 supboard, which was broken.. and no yoga tent, like described. The tent did had some board games, which was a nice extra.
    • The road to access this location very bad!!!
    • The cabin is very very simple, it was OK for us as we stayed in similars before, but it was unexpected to see so simple lodging in Spain :)They ran out of coffee on day two. If you want to stay in glamping — note that tents are quite close to each other and beach is 500m away, there's nothing romantic there.

What an amazing site with lots of different types of accommodation. We stayed in the two bed House, it had a really comfortable double bed with a triple bunk. The other room had quite a few bunks. Loads of room ??The site is beautiful and so unique. So fabulous to get away from everything for a few days, I think it's the most relaxed I've been for years! ?

    Nothing it was all great

    Comfy bedSwimming pool

I got a cabin. There is just a bed. No bin, mirror, storage- nothing else, so if all you want is a sleep it is ok.However, to get there there is a very long, horrible road so it takes over 10-15min of a slow and boring ride with not very nice views. It’s next to a beach but not a very nice one, just rocky, with ppl staying there is camper-vans. There is no use of kitchen or a kettle. No hairdryer’s available or allowed to use! There is a restaurant serving food. There are no other local shops or amenities. Cabins are very close to each other, so are the dom tents. In the pool there are no inflatables allowed for some reason. Not even balls. Generally not many things are allowed there ?

Stunning view, good breakfast service, kind staff. But DON'T come with bikes, don't make the same mistake as we did. According to Google Maps, the journey isn't hard, but don't let it fool you because it is, the roads are scary even with car, and there is no reception almost anywhere. We were basically stranded because we couldn't leave with our bikes, the nearest bus stop is far away, and no taxis were willing to pick us up. The staff was kind enough to take us and one of the bikes to the bus stop for a fee of 30 euros, but it was still a pretty traumatic experience, so whatever you do, only come with car. Also there was no heating inside our cabin and it was freezing at night, but the fact that the site was right by the ocean definitely outweighs it. There is no reception in the camping site at all, only wifi

Beautiful camp with mountains and sea around. People are nice. The camp would be a bomb if it's clean.

The place we stayed was incredibly dirty.

    6RichardPosted on: 3-9-2025

Staff are nice, it's a bit quirky, nice place to see the stars. Nice trek to gui gui

It's a bit overpriced, wouldn't say the dome accomodation is worth it, needs to have an option not to include food. access to sea was not as imagined. Food is fairly low standard and no other local options (breakfast was ok) ... dont eat the fajitas! Unless you like flavourless bad food ....

Everything was super nice. Staff was very friendly and kind. Our tent was clean and comfy. Food was also good. Located in nature where you can find peace and chill.

    10GouveiaPosted on: 2-24-2025

Good food, good people and funny cats.

The beach is not safe to swim and the place is very hard to reach.

The location is very remote, beautiful and quiet. If you are looking for a peaceful break this is the right spot. The pool and area is great. The drive through the mountains to get to the camp site is not for everyone, it's an hour to the nearest town with restaurants in Port Mogan.

The beds in the cabin were really uncomfortable. The couch was actually slightly more comfortable than the bed, which was really bad. We stayed for 9 days and were struggling towards the end. The food was really not great and if you are not cooking there is no where else to eat so you don't have a choice. We cooked a lot but were charged for a v. small amount of black pepper which we forgot to buy on the way there.

The camp itself is nice and beautiful. There are goats that walk around the property in the morning, which I really enjoyed.

Sometimes there was no toilet paper (2 out of the 5 days that we stayed there). It's a really remote place so be prepared to have at least 30 to 40min to the next restaurant or supermarket!!

Beautiful location and quite isolated (which we wanted), a bit challenging to get there if you don’t have a car. We had the house with sea view which was perfect with a kitchen as well. The restaurant is basic which works for a short stay. It also has a store in the restaurant where you can buy some basic stuff like milk etc. The manager Mariano was quite helpful and easy to approach. The other manager was also very friendly. The old guy who spoke only Spanish was very sweet.

This place has potential but it needs some love. The staff in the restaurant were a bit uninterested in their jobs, more focused on having fun themselves. Every time I asked for a high chair for my kid, I had to remind them several times before they will get the high chair and then remind them again to clean the chair. And I had to reclean the chair after they cleaned because they were simply not interested in their jobs. They seemed annoyed if you took a bit of time to order or ask questions.

The surroundings, the staff, the food, the swimmingpool area.

The "hut" we stayed in was terrible. There was no shared kitchen.

Greetings from ?? Our stay was amazing the place is calm and beatiful. Beach is just in a corner. Guigui beach is very close aswell so its good starting point aswell. We didn’t have car so it was a little bit harder. But we did it by bus and some hitchhiking (thank you kind people). Camp is cute and stuff r very kind. You can eat there cheap.

Bathrooms werent very clean. And it was sometimes some probles with hot water in ladies bathrooms. But not dissaster. It’s a camp so you have to count with that….even with some animals :-) but it was really nice stay and we ll come again!

The campsite here is in a wonderful remote location, and very near has one of the most fantastic 2-hour hikes to a beautiful natural beach. The staff were friendly and it's very peaceful down there. Having breakfast and dinner included in my fee (because I booked a dome) was a peace of mind and simple, no thinking required - the food was perfectly fine and really filling portions - perfect for a hiking trip. I had a great time overall but I do have some criticisms, perhaps which have more to do with my expectations than the reality...

I'm torn because I had a wonderful time here in the end, and these things are personal, and I'm comparing this unfairly to another dome I stayed in in Madeira (much cheaper destination), but for the money I spent here, I expected a little more comfort/style/convenience. I know with a remote place you can't expect everything, and part of the beauty is that it's remote, but the wi-fi was patchy and intermittent (although I was mainly off-grid), I was a little cold in my December stay because the dome is not so sealed to the floor like some are, even with the extra blankets provided in the dome, and the remoteness of this place does mean it's at least 25 minutes drive to the nearest road, 10 minutes of which is a bumpy track, and it is then another long drive to any other good hiking spots. The beach at Tasartico itself is not particularly special, but it's "fine" for a little walk and there were beautiful sunsets. Having said the food portions are great, the quality was not amazing - it was nice, but it could be better - the coffee was not to my liking! However, I did have a nice time overall, so these criticisms feel harsh - I just hope they can help! Maybe if I came just to camp in a tent I wouldn't expect as much, but when you "glamp" and pay a lot for it, perhaps you want more...

Beautiful quiet location, nice personal, sea is very close + sunset.

    3DavidePosted on: 12-11-2024

    starry skyreally quiet

Really dirty. We had huge cockroaches in our dome. Luckily we stayed only for one night.Really poor floor structure. When you walk in the dome everything will shake as an earthquake. To reach the camp you have to drive 4 km on a dirt road in poor conditions. If you have breakfast at the bar, hundreds of mosquitos will eat your breakfast before you do.

    4GiuseppePosted on: 11-20-2024

Good place if you have a 4x4, otherwise you will have to pay a lot of attention during the ride towards the camping. Also it can be a good place if you book the domo (I can only assume though).

The place was not as beautiful and clean as it is shown on booking, we had to ask for a room change as soon as we arrived and in the new house we found rats and cockroaches during the third day. We booked for a week but in the end we had to run away before. I guess it can be good for some people looking at the general picture but it definitely was not the place we were looking for or thought we booked for.
