Holiday Inn Istanbul - Tuzla Bay By IHG

The staff is very friendly, helpful and professional, they made everything to help me and made my stay so fruitful most of them all are the guest relations officers. The health precautions for Covide were super.

Let’s face it: when you think of Istanbul, Tuzla isn’t the first placename that comes to mind. Yet this Holiday Inn puts it firmly on your mental map even if you’re only here with a brief visit to fly out from Sabiha Gökçen; everything here is very good. Rooms are spotless and comfortable, bathrooms clean and fresh, breakfast plentiful and staff ever so helpful.Try to get the sea view rooms if you can—a rainy morning over the busy Tuzla Bay is like a painting that you’ll take away with you no matter how short your stay.

The food

No international television. The temperature of the fitness area was too warm / hot. The fitness center and spa shouldn't have been the same temperature.

Very comfortable beds. Nice view to the see. Wide variety for breakfast.

The room was perfect, and very quiet despite being close to the lift

The sink drain from the wash basin in the bathroom was slow to drain and difficult to keep clean

The desk is not very suitable for work on notebook, there is not enough artificial lighting in the room for whole day working.The wellness is only basic saunas, relax area, fitness, but clean.I stayed in non smoking floor, but I smelt cigarettes once whole the night.I stayed in the room with door to other room (internal, for apartment possibility), and there was a kid (3-5 y old?), screaming till 1.a.m.

Facilities were good, room was nice and there was everything I needed. But..

smoking is the real issue for me. I had an non-smoking room but as it was surrounded with smoking rooms it was unpleasant to say in room. Cigarette smoke from other rooms came in to my room and felt like someone is smoking in there, that much it was polluting. Sleeping in that condition was not possible as I couldn't escape from smoke.

The room was big, beautifully decorated, quiet and wonderful view of the harbor and the shipyard, bed was exceptionally comfortable.

The breakfast was disappointing, the scrambled eggs were cold, and when I asked for a cup of cappuccino, the waiter said yes one minute please and disappeared without getting me the coffee, resulting me leaving the dining room without morning coffee.

Ok location, good breakfast. Nice view from top restaurant.

Staff at desk and restaurant doesn't speak fluent english.

It has no balcony on sea view

Staff is welcoming. Breakfast is pretty good. The view from restraunt is pretty good as well.

However the rooms facing the road are pretty noisy. 4 pillows on the bed are good. But better if there are of different sizes. I ended up sleepin on the rolled towel as all of the pillows were pretty big for my neck

Very clean and well organised. The staff are obviously well trained and very polite.

Location

The room is clean. The bed is comfortable. Nice staff. Attention to detail: there is even a shoe spoon.Wonderful view from the window.

The TV is not opposite the bed. The coffee for breakfast is disgusting! No coffee machine ( Meat dishes at breakfast are not very tasty.

Unfortunately I received a "smoking room" and the smell was still there. Then the shower post was not capable to hold the faucet, so getting a shower was a bit difficult.

not far from airport, clean hotel with nice view

Apart from the hotel being clean, ammaculate and excellent.....I would like to talk about the staff.....They are amazing and outstanding service. They were so accommodating to my requests, that with a genuine smile and sense of help. At checkout, when I met the Manager and some other staff members, they were smiling. Genuinely, you can sense that they are there to look after you. If your in istanbul, you have to go and stay at least one night here. I Shall Be back........

Literally NOthing negetive

The rooms are spacious. Great location. The staff were supportive when we showed up late for breakfast. They allowed us late check out and were patient.

No pool. Staff were medium, not as supportive or friendly as Holiday inn Antalya - Lara. No balcony, and window doesn’t open up much.

I liked that the bar was serving food when I arrived quite late from London. The meal was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

Nothing to complain about really. Perhaps, next time I stay I'd like a room overlooking the sea, but that is a minor comment.
