My Place Hotel Salt Lake City I 215 West Valley City

the hotel is great full size refrigerator stove top cabinets clean beds most of the staff was wonderful

the deposit is 200 dollars it is refundable but it can take 2 to 5 days Wich can put someone in a bind

The hotel was in a good location for my travel.

Experience was awful & not a 3-star. Staff was very unprofessional. Room was beside the lobby & was incredibly loud. Requested a different location, but she said she wasn't allowed. Room was old, dirty & uncomfortable. Did not request an accessible room

Near venue and relatives living in the area. AWESOME!

Washing machines were not working properly. I had to pay extra to re-run machine 3x to get water soaked clothes wrung out. Reasonable price for machines but not when it has to be done 3x.

It's inexpensive and clean. The rooms are spacious

Just wish they had a pool

The room was clean and reasonably updated/clean bed for how basic it was.

Customer service was terrible, location wasn't great.

It was very quiet regardless of it being full. Room was big and the hotel is right across the street from the Maverick Arena.

The tv in my room was broken and I told the front desk, but they didn't help me with the problem.

Hotel is for sure 4-5 starts. Very clean, amazing staff.

Power was out all night and morning due to the storm. But they should have a generator.

Great price, conveniently located downtown very clean.

The size of the room was nice and the bed was clean.

The bathroom had a horrible smell in it and there was a giant crack at the top of the mirror. The toilet knob kept falling out also.

Kitchen, large fridge

Staff was terrible, most couldn't speak english. Front desk staff wasn't helpfull, no ice machines other than you fridge and it was turned off. Wont ever stay there again.

I liked that it had a kitchenette and a washer dryer facility onsite. I thought it would be handy.

I'm used to Grand Stays that have cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. There were none, so there wasn't anyway to use the stove. The front desk was useless. I used the laundry facility and there wasn't any detergent left to purchase.

It was clean

It did ot meet the norml ranking of 3 as advertized. There was no breakfast.

It had everything a person would need including full size fridge (ice maker did not work). Cleaned and everything else was fine.

The location is good except there is construction going on all around the hotel. This makes getting to the hotel difficult. There were workers cars parked all around the street making it pretty much one way. Hard to see where to turn to get to hotel.

*The fact there were cooking accommodations and a larger than mini sized fridge/freezer. * pet friendly * clean and welcoming after our very long and stressful drive from Denver.

Front desk lady acted bored, not even a smile and we were so frazzled after we got lost during rush hour after driving all day. Even a smile would have been so reassuring to us. Maybe if we were not so exhausted, it wouldn't have felt like a letdown?

Price was right. Location was close to freeway and other places like the mall. Quiet at night. Staff was friendly..

Made reservations online, had all documentation for the check in. Their system was down, wouldn't let us check in without paying for a room in cash and are contesting giving us out money back that we paid online.

The staff is uncaring and leaning towards rude. They have a nice breakfast in bed service, where they bring you food to your room, but very surprisingly, these food items are not served in the lobby, where breakfast is not provided at all.

The night clerk was friendly.

Had a bad smell. It smelled like smoke and cigarettes. The day time clerks were not friendly. The room was very hot we had to turn the AC on to 60 and it took hours for the room to cool off enough to be comfortable. Walls were very thin.
