Erik's Retreat

Close to events we attended. More on what I didn’t like. I was promised a refund for one of the nights I stayed and never received is as of today.

Yes, no staff available when needed. Needed a code to enter the hotel. Door not working properly so I couldn’t enter the hotel and no one to call to let me in. I sat outside for an hour waiting for someone to come to the door to let me in.

It¿s lovely and elegant. Beautiful room and very comfortable. The entire place was quiet, warm and spotless. This is our new go-to when we need a place to stay.

The staff, location, very comfortable/modern room and free breakfast tray delivered at a time of my choosing.

It was extremely cold and uncomfortable having to park down the street in winter weather. No telephone in the room, so I had to go downstairs twice to request more filtered water and to inquire about cable & internet not working.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful even helping us unload our luggage and get it to our room. The room was very comfortable, modern, and clean. We had a very nice free breakfast and there was free internet. Overall, it was an excellent.

very clean and quiet, not really a hotel per say. Staff very accomodating. Interesting concept and was glad to be helping autistic persons.

Parking was extra on site or had to walk to another building and use their parking. Wasn't sure if I was parking in correct place. A map of where to park would have clarified where to park.Weather was nice so ok walking. If winter, wouldn't be so nice

Erik's Retreat was just 5 minutes' drive from Fairview Southdale Hospital, so convenient for us. We enjoyed the complementary wine in our room, and the complementary continental breakfast that was delivered to our room promptly at the time we requested.

An incredible experience. The hotel is more like a restored mansion, with beautiful woodwork and art. Our room was huge and well-appointed and the staff were friendly, courteous and professional. Can't believe we didn't find this place earlier!

Quiet, nice location, close to our destination, but not in the city congestion.

Parking is adequate, and there is reserved garage parking, but it is a little confusing. Just ask and it will be fully explaine.

The mission of the hotel - to employ autistic adults - is to be applauded! That being said, we liked the convenience and location as well.

I loved the hotel's mission and thr purpose on which it was founded. Not only was the staff friendly, the service was impeccable and i would definitely go back and reccommend others to check out.
