    Cons -

    • Our flight was delayed so it was like 1am when arrived, no lights on in pathway to room and super dark. Unfortunately fell not able to see steps. Rest of stay was amazing
    • When we arrived the desk staff didn't understand any English and told us there were no rooms available and no reservations. We had to find someone on the street to interpret. Took almost an hour to get everything straightened out.
    • Bathroom smelled like sewer. The fridge in room did not work. Breakfast was too simple. Coffee was not good. On the first day we stayed, we had to move to a smaller room with a smaller bed because ac did not work. This should have been detected beforehand. I paid a higher price for a premium room and got a standard on the first day.

Breakfast = yogurt with fruits, the or juice. Two slices of bread, gem. That is all, but you can pay for more if you want.

    Each day, same menu.

Amazing location and the facilities are great. I loved the feeling of being in the middle of the jungle with so many plants. The closed parking had exactly one spot available when I arrived, but there were also several spots in front of the lobby that we would have used otherwise. La Quinta is a few minutes walk away and there's tons of bars, mini supermarkets and ATMs around (which was important for me)

The service at breakfast can be improved. I arrived just past 7 o'clock and it took at least 15 minutes before the single "waiter" came to our table since he was busy taking care of guests who arrived previously. It was not clear how the breakfast works but you just wait and they bring you the included granola and fruit bowl, plus toast with butter and jam. If you want something else like eggs, then you need to order separately. This was also not mentioned during check-in but I gladly purchased extra. The breakfast was not to my taste but not bad. Now knowing all that's out there I could have gotten something cheaper that I enjoyed more in one of the many locations outside. The facilities could also use a bit of updating (like closets, windows not fully closing). But nothing major, it's a nice place overall!

location easy to get to and go in and out from. The overall ambiance and the natural parts of the atmosphere with a cozy little pool.

no Pool Towels in Room. Could have refilled our water jug for the cleaning as a bonus, but it was more than enough either way

This hotel was in a great central location- close to the ADO bus station, many restaurants, and some of the beaches. The grounds were beautiful, with many green plants, a nice pool, and a nice place to eat breakfast. The breakfast was simple but pretty tasty. The room was great- the bed was very comfortable, the AC worked very well, and the shower worked great (hot water worked well). Overall, my friends and I really enjoyed our stay!

There were only 2 things that could be improved: 1. Our ceiling fan didn't work (but with the AC, that was ok), and 2. There were no hooks or racks to hang our towels. This was kind of annoying as we wanted to be able to let our towels dry. Just putting in some simple wall hooks for 4 towels would be so helpful! Otherwise, we had a great stay and I would highly recommend this hotel!

Everything was amazing! The room was spotless, housekeeping every day, and the staff was super friendly. Special thanks to Mr. Omar for helping us with everything and arranging our trips. Highly recommend!

Hulku less expensive, but ferry, beach and 5th street 6 min walk, and also el fogon restaurant also 6 min walk opposite direction less expensive with excellent food for a not expensive, but reasonable food prices.

No refills on drinks , which i finally realize how blessed to have.

I've stayed here several times and I've always enjoyed the experience. The bed is super comfortable. The AC works well and there's an actual kitchenette with a small refrigerator and that is always a bonus!

The Wi-Fi was a little bit iffy.

Great pool! Fun little playground for kids.

A little loud but we expected that anywhere is Playa Del Carmen.

    7BonniePosted on: 4-5-2025

Lovely smaller property. Breakfast is very basic but decent. Location close to 5th Ave & the beach. The center of the hotel was jungle like, absolutely beautiful. Staff is very professional.

The noise at night from nearby bars & a nightclub. Not the hotels fault...maybe they should offer earplugs, though. I would have given 9 if it weren't for the noise at night.

    7EltonPosted on: 4-2-2025

very nice location to explore . Omar extremely helpful and super nice.

can get extremely noisy at night . As for the reception some of the staff could be more warmwelcome like Omar.

    5PaulaPosted on: 3-31-2025

The hotel front door was permanently locked, and you had to buzz to be let in. We had to wear a wrist band. Breakfast was very poor. The pool was cold, in the shade and only had the 3 sunbeds in the photos.

    9Bella T.Posted on: 3-31-2025

Beautiful jungle setting, nice clean rooms, comfortable beds. All the staff is friendly and helpful but Omar goes above and beyond, great recommendations, professional and wonderful sense of humor. Just adds to the stay. Breakfast included is very basic. I've had better breakfast from hostels in Mexico. To the management, breakfast upgrades is something easily improved upon at low cost which can greatly enhance the experience and quality of your guests stay. Also, pls remove the requirement for wearing a plastic hotel name bracelet. We aren't in an all incl resort where people rarely leave the resort. We are going out daily to the streets, restaurants and clubs. This can be very dangerous, especially for single women. Something can be added to a drink, the person knows where we are staying and can do something before we reach back to the hotel.

Very nice hotel with pool and a beautiful garden.Check in was not flexible and the communication in advance was a bit difficult. Other than that we had a great time.

    8PaulinaPosted on: 3-24-2025

everything was good except the breakfast.

everything was good except the breakfast. it was supposed to start at 7.00AM and we needed to leave 7.20AM sharp as we were going for the organised trip. lady in the kitchen started to put cutlery on the tables at 7.00 and she was doing it sloooowly.. we needed to leaved without having breakfast :/ that was the only inconvenience

    8VunchukhonPosted on: 3-19-2025

The centralization of the property was great. Far enough from the riff raft of the rowdy beach crowd. Everything is walkable to any places. Love the jungle atmosphere built into the hotel. Really is peaceful to be around and do some reading for days you don’t want to hang at the beach. Omar, at front desk is guy to go for all your extracurricular activities.

Although, there’s a possibility of the drunk patrons of the hotel to come rolling in at 3 am and deciding loudly to extend their conversations, and at the foyer where their voices microphone for all to hear. Their breakfast is ok. They don’t offer eggs with your “free breakfast”. They do offer with an additional charge.

    Reception staff amazing, very helpful

Breakfast was some fruits and 2 slices of toast
